We wrapped another 10-week league season yesterday. I'll be passing the reigns off to Dan for the next 10-week season which will start in a week or two or three. Stay tuned for a post here or on the ADGA page when we decide on a schedule. In the meantime, get signed up for Spirit of 76 at PC this Saturday!

Week 9 at Meier Lake was a bit of a slog. Scores were tight and only 2 of 20 players shot under par on the day. Frank and Allen split the A Pool pot notching -2 (963 rated). Both did it with 5 birds and 3 bogeys on the day. Dan and Keegan also managed solid rounds at E, leaving Keegan with the B Pool 1st place prize. In C Pool, Sal won handily shooting a +7 (877 rated). Other cash winners on the day were Sramdaddy, Naz, Bee, River, and Isreal.

Week 10 at PC was a tight battle with half the field shooting under par on a fresh layout. The highlight of the day was an 8th hole ace hit by Jake Ratliff which earned him $185.75. Congrats to Mr. Ratliff! In terms of scores, Dramdaddy ruled the day with a bogey-free -9. Aaron Ressler in B Pool matched his birdie count but threw in one bogey to finish at +8 to take B Pool. A visitor from NJ, Cormac, took 2nd place in A Pool with -6. C Pool was won by Yoojyim Yang with a +1. Other cash winners included Naz, Rodney, Bee, and Dave Donaldson.

Now for the league series podium... DRUMROLL
1st Place goes to Mr. Dan Allen who is half way to a calendar year league sweep. He played 8 rounds and accumulated 242.5 points with his 7 best rounds. Congrats to Dan. His league average unofficial rating is 940 (17 points lower than his actual rating)
2nd Place goes to Mr. Allen Black. He played 10 rounds and earned 230 points with his 7 best. His league average unofficial rating is 930 (3 points above his rating)
3rd Place goes to the Sramdaddy. He played 7 rounds and earned 210 points to narrowly edge out Keegan Haviland for the last podium spot. His league average unofficial rating was 936 (3 points above his rating)

These finishers will each receive a custom engraved mini to commemorate their noble league campaigns.

Honorable mention goes to Keegan Haviland who was in 3rd until Sramdaddy's stellar final week and finished with 200 points in 7 rounds and averaged an unofficial rating of 910 (21 points above his rating).

In terms of cashflow- not many folks came out in the green this season in terms of league winnings (not counting aces).
Keegan had the best cashflow coming out + $6.38
Nolan, Frank, Ryder, Murphy, Scott Haviland, Seth Asing, and Bee Yang also came out in the green. Everyone else came out even or negative on the season.

Our 10th and final league night of the season is tomorrow at PC. The layout is a bit different than last time we were there so keep your head on a swivle for the new basket locations Dan and company have set up for Spirit of 76 this weekend.

Here's where the season standings are at:

1st - Dan Allen at 242.5, 8 rounds played
2nd - Allen Black 225, 9 rounds played
3rd - Keegan Haviland 182.5, 6 rounds played
4th - David Sramek 172.5, 6 rounds played
5th - Killian Flannery 140, 5 rounds played

The top 3 finishers will recieve commemorative league minis. Reminder that everyone's top 7 rounds count towards their season total.

We had a solid showing at PC this week with sizable A and B Pools battling it out.

In A Pool, Sramdaddy took the W shooting a hot -9 with no bogeys (991 rated). He even managed to do so by missing one of the easiest birdies on the course (hole 16). What a flex. Scott came second in A Pool shooting -7 in spite of starting the round off with two early bogeys. Dan Allen rounded out the A Pool cash line at -6 with a dreaded double bogey on hole 7, or as he likes to call it "the random hyzer line that needs luck not skill."

In B Pool, Naz started HOT going -5 through 7 before cooling a bit to finish at -6 (951 rated). Robin followed with a solid -4. Then there was a 4-way tie for 3rd at -1 with Keegan, Mike B, Harold, and Ivan. Sheesh. Sorry to Cory and Rod for being the odd men out for the B Pool cash.

In C Pool, Donaldson took it down with ease, notching a +1 (860 rated). Haviland Sr. picked up the pieces to take 2nd of 3 with a +9.

Impressive birdie awards this week go to:
Scott for notching the lone birdie on 3,
Sramdaddy and Haviland Sr. for notching the lone birdies on 7 (much to Dan's chagrin), and
Sramdaddy, Dan, Scott, and Harold for notching impressive (but on this day not that rare) birdies on hole 15.

Next week we'll be at Meier Lake. Two dollars from every entry fee will go towards course fees so the ace pot will not be increasing (and the club wont be gobbling up much money either). Get your money in by Tuesday (6/24) at 4pm if you plan to play. We'll be playing long pads to white (short) baskets in preparation for the tourney out there in a week and a half. We're back at ace-friendly PC tomorrow and the pot is healthy and waiting to get taken. Get your money in if you plan to play.

We have a tight battle coming into the final 3 weeks of league. As a reminder, the top 7 rounds for all competitors are summed to crown our overall season champ. Custom minis are awarded to podium finishers. So far this is where things stand:

Allen Black - 7 rounds at 185 pts
Dan Allen - 6 rounds at 182.5 pts
Killian Flannery - 5 rounds at 140 pts
Keegan Haviland - 4 rounds at 120 pts
Plus a few others in contention with 90+ pts with 3 or 4 rounds played

Can Dan be stopped for the first time since last summer when Brian Cassidy took the crown?! Time will tell.

A lone 5-pack of hearty souls braved the wind and rain yesterday playing Kincaid Pros to Yellows. Allen Black came out victorious overall and won the big pot in a B Pool of 3 shooting +4 (925 rated). Behind him were Jacob Kinder (+9) and Robin White (+13) to round out the B Pool Podium.

In C Pool, Salvador won his duel against Nolan Brown shooting a +16 (818 rated) to Nolan's +23.

Birdies were few and bogeys were many... I'll shout out each of the 4 birdies folks made on the day:

Props to Allen for getting holes 1 and 10. Special props for hole 10 because that pin is not set up for a lefty backhand player in the wind.

Congrats to Jacob for nabbing hole 6 which also played as the 6th hardest hole on the day.

And congrats to Nolan for birding the par 5 hole 12! He owns that hole now, at least while the momma moose is away.

We had a great showing from B and C Pools at PC last week with some closely contested battles.

The over W went to Dan The Man Allen who shot -6 (968 rated) to take A Pool. In B Pool we had a tie for first between two young guns - Keegan Haviland and Ryder Skaaren who both shot -4 (943 rated). Isaiah in A Pool also notched a -4 to round out the cash line in A Pool. Bee Yang took 3rd in B Pool with -3 and Allen Black rounded out the cash line with a -2.

In C Pool we had a tight battle with Scott Haviland notching the W with a +7 to earn the largest pot of the day ($15.50). Right behind him were Dave Donaldson and Nolan Brown who tied at +8 to round out the C Pool cash line.

Impressive birdie awards go to:
Keegan Haviland for getting a 2 on hole 4 (the hardest hole on the day)
Ryder Skaaren for getting a 2 on hole 15
Dan Allen and Robin White for grabbing 2s on hole 7 (the third hardest hole on the day)

Tomorrow we'll be playing pro pads to yellow baskets to get geared up for the Kincaid Classic in a couple weeks. Hope to see you out there! Money and card requests should be to me by 4pm tomorrow if you intend to play.

Andrew Belanger and Nolan Brown split 1st in C Pool. Big thanks to Andrew for inexplicably giving all his winnings to the Ace Pot which i've still yet to tally this league... it's healthy though so make some ace runs to win big yall!

Other podium/cash winners for the week included Sramdaddy, Allen, and Robin. Nice shootin' yall!

Highlights for the round included intrtactions with a protective momma moose, excellent conditions, and solid B and C Pool play.

Killian took the overall and A Pool win with a -2 (946). He did it by carding 5 birds and 3 bogeys. Dan and I shared 2nd place in A Pool shooting -1, meaning all of A Pool cashed!

B Pool was another tight battle with 3 players tying for 1st and splitting the cash. Congrats to Weslee, Harold, and Keegan who all carded +2 and shot above their ratings!

C Pool was won by the the Senior Haviland who shot +6 and took home the biggest chunk of change on the day. Well done Scott! 2nd place went to Sal with a solid +7 to narrowly edge out his rival Dave who had edged him out by one stroke the week prior.

Extra props go to Sal for carding the only bird of the day on hole 8! Killian carded another rare bird on hole 5 with a moanster forehand.

The hardest hole of the day was hole 12 which played a stroke over par. Easiest was hole 4 which had 64% birdies and nothing worse than a par.

We'll be back at Kincaid tomorrow for a round of Shorts to Blues. Get your fees in if you want to play.

Last week at PC, Mr. Gall put a hurting on the field shooting -6 (983 rated) to take the overall W by 2 strokes and beat his closest A Pool competitors by 4 strokes. Elsewhere in A Pool, Scott took 2nd place at -2 and Killian took 3rd at -1.

Mr. Black grabbed his 2nd B Pool win in a row with a -4, earning the biggest cash prize in the field. Can anyone beat him this league cycle? That remains to be seen. Seth took 2nd at -2 and Rodney rounded out the podium at -1.

In C Pool, there was a 3-way battle and Dr. Donaldson previaled by 1 stroke over his rival Sal.

To nobody's surprise, hole 4 played almost a stroke over par on the day and was the hardest hole. Somehow Mr. Gall managed to birdie it though... Did anyone see that happen? What is the line?! Holes 6 and 15 also played almost a half stroke over par.
And once again congratz are in order for Mr. Gall for getting another rare bird on hole 6.

Only the diehards made it out for Week 1 for Kincaid Pros to Yellows. We had a total of 10 competitors out on a windy Tuesday evening.

Allen Black shot the hot round at +1 (961 rated) to take the overall W and B Pool. Killian won A Pool with a +3 (943 rated). Dan The Goon Man Allen had to settle for 2nd in A Pool with a +5. Wes scored 2nd in B Pool with a +8.

In C Pool Dave and Sal battled it out with Dave coming out on top with +17. Sal played perfect bogey golf to finish at +18.

The course played very tough. Only 4 holes were birdied and only 10 birdies were carded overall. Allen and Sramdaddy led the field in birdies with 3 each.

Hopefully we'll see some more birdies this week at PC. Get your entries in by 4pm tomorrow if you're playing!

The first league night will be this Tuesday April 29th. In preparation for the big Kincaid Kickoff the following weekend, we'll be playing Pro Pads to Am Baskets. Get those drivers ready folks - you'll need to throw some bombs.

I (James) am back as host of this 10-week league so be sure to send your entries to me via Venmo (@james-robinson-32). I'll be out of town the first two league weeks so if you can't manage to get me your Venmo in time, there's no guarantee you'll be put on a card. Any late league fee submissions (after 4pm on a league Tuesday) will be refunded.

As in past summer sessions, Flex-starts are allowed! If you make a card of at least 3 players, just let me know in advance who is on it and when y'all plan on teeing off.

The league schedule posted here is tentative. We'll generally flip between Kincaid and PC with a bit of Girdwood thrown in the mix. Hope to see y'all out there!
