Now as for the updates given here, a -13 on shorts for A and B pool, as a lady, I agree that ladies or C pool should play shorts if scores are that extreme of a range and A and B pool both play longs, as it severely affects disc golfers who are out to get a casual PDGA league rating in. Those are great scores! But I’ve personally haven’t shot a 650 rated round in YEARS, so it affected me greatly this round. Also, love the vibe of league and should be treated to make friends and have fun, but when you are going against rule 802.02 C yourself, putting out of turn, rushing us ladies to finish out, it’s not really that enforced as a TD, is it? Let alone not waiting back to address the fact of a disc flying through the air at us while we are on the green, hitting a player, when multiple previous holes, they had a spotter checking from the card, but admittedly failed to do so on this particular hole. We agreed on the card that on hole 4 when we were finishing the hole, and the card behind us drove off the tee, before putts were finished, that we should let them play through. But you admittedly said “if it’s a par 4, they can drive off the tee” which I never heard that rule before. We never held back to let them play through, because you were rushing. Flying discs towards players is unsafe. And that wasn’t the first time it happened that day, but first to actually reach us. Now we had a great discussion with the previous card after you left in your car and there were no hard feelings. We actually laughed! I’m commenting this, since you weren’t present afterwards and to also make sure we, as women in the sport, are welcome to join leagues like these in the future. We don’t throw as far as you, and feeling rushed is not a good feeling when we are happy to be on the rear card the whole round like the first week. You might not experience it much as a 946 rated player, but throwing while the card in front is still on the hole needs to be enforced as a strict rule in PDGA leagues. It happens more times than you think. Thank you for your time reading this. First week was fun! I think more ladies would join, continuing to grow the sport, if we could come to an agreement and play by the PDGA rules for PDGA rated rounds and feel supported from a TD to enforce them on their own too, instead of brushing it off to finish the round and not addressing it in real time, keeping the adrenaline high for the remainder 3 holes. I have ZERO patience for a PDGA official not taking these things in consideration. Thank you.
