FYI payouts went to the top 15 and will be available this Sunday. unqualified players may still come out and play dubs from the shorts this week and every week of the playoffs. If you're in the playoffs you are required to be there this week or you must turn in a card by saturday. Failure to do this will mean disqualification from the tournament.

Qualified players must be present or have a card turned in for the first week of the playoffs to set the groups. Players not meeting these requirements will be DQ'd.

We're on the putter course Sunday for 2 rounds, both worth double points. the scoring format will be the same as the duece or die league. 1pt for a deuce, 3pt for an ace, minus 1pt for 3 or more. there will be no match payouts for these rounds.Instead we'll payout the top scores. Aces will be worth a max of $50 up to the first 3 after 3 we'll split the #1 ace pool leaving the second ace pool for tournament play.

Each week of tournament play will be on a different course and we will use all the courses we visit for tournament play. Match payouts and fees will continue during tournament play. Players who miss during tourney rounds may PRE-SHOOT their round and turn in a card to Scott by Saturday. Your opponent will have your card to play against. The alternative is a forfeit.

New this year is a slightly shorter regular season, with a new playoff format which keeps all qualified players competitive to the very end. The new tourney includes 2 rounds of group play, with payouts based on final group standings.
Also new is a higher $10 weekly fee. The purpose of the fee change is to make weekly payouts for match wins. So now you can win $10 for singles and $20 for doubles match wins. Lots of new ways to get paid so I look forward to seeing you all soon!

Spring is just around the corner which means so is the start of the summer league. We start March 31st on the North course at M Broadway, with reg starting at 9 for the first week. Please try and get there early as there will be a short meeting before we start the first round of the season.
Don't forget the first MPC Travel league event on Saturday the 30th reg at 9 and tee at 9:30 also on the North course.
