We finished up our first 10 week season with the Roller Derby Round at lakeshore ponds on the shorts. I had ranges of feedback from this was fun and we should do it again, to I don't think rollers are for me.

Either way we are on to season 2 - 5/24/23-8/15/23 - 12 weeks. Points reset to zero and we are playing for prizes now! (discs, baskets, bags, gift cards, etc..)

Season 2 is more Saggy Britches Disc Golf, but with even more fun games.

To kick of the season we are at Melvindale Riverfront and we are going to give some opportunities to hit that ACE POOL with putter roulette on the shorts.

Putter Roulette: Everyone brings a putter, we put you into a 6 card (like a 6 shooter) and each hole you use 1 putter, after that hole you pass that disc to the next person and you get someone else's putter.

3 speeds and below are fair game



Tentative League Schedule- Will be in UDisc as well:

1. Melvindale Riverfront - Putter Roulette
2. Cass - straight up random doubles
3. Star-Jaycee - Ript Revenge or similar
4. Lakeshore - Golds Safari Layout
5. Freedom Park - Glitch Mob - (buy or borrow a glitch 1 disc challenge)
6. Independence Lake - bag swap
7. Rolling Hills - Fozzy Dice Round - yes we do have a trophy for that
8. Kensington- Backwards Round (putter off tee, driver in C2)
9. Cass- Midrange Mayhem
10. Palmer- Caddy Challenge
11. Northridge- High / Low Doubles
12. Wagner - Mentally Unstable (all discs thrown must be understable (turn + fade < 0)

This is subject to change depending on weather and ideas / suggestions from league members

After the tee shot play as normal.

Normal OB applies on or over rock walls, in water, over the fences or on parking lot.

For the prove it drive round we had a strong field, and newcomer Ben Steskal finished out with a 53 leading by 5 strokes.

In our AM State Championship Race for the Berth - it's tight between Brett and Cody, Brett edges out a nice lead after this week. (I'm not taking the berth even if I win)

Anything could happen in our last week of the 10 week series to compete for the Berth.

Our week 10 challenge is the roller derby at lakeshore ponds off the shorts - roller off each tee and play is normal from where it lands.


After the 10 week series we go back to normal SB Business with dice, roulette, Ript and more. We are going to do 2 seasons of 12 weeks with prizes for league members.

Points will reset and the Summer Season will end August 15th we will hand out prizes for our top finishers.

Points will reset again for Fall Season which will end October 31st and again will hand out prizes for our top finishers. (we will get more membership discs in August to fundraise for new prizes)

There were a handful of metal hits for Ace unfortunately none dropped.

September 1-4th (1 round per day: Friday /Saturday / Sunday ) in Ludington Michigan. It's usually a lot of fun, most of the Saggy Britches group usually ends up there one way or another for the weekend.

This is a true Saggy Britches Classic, playing disc golf they way it was invented with big ol discs. We are playing 2x around the Red's at Bandemere with Ultimate Frisbees (175g Ultra-Stars or something similar) we will also be putting with the Frisbees too, so no need to bring extra discs.

No disc golf "catch" discs, no glitches, Pa-5s, sonics, etc... No 200g discs, no Big Kahunas, Only 175g Ultimate Discs.

If you don't have one, Todd and I have at least 6-7 extras so don't worry. I'm sure if Max can make it he also has a stack from his former Ultimate days.

I know on our card we had a couple ace runs almost rung up and I heard about a few others, someone has to hit one soon.

We had some good shooting Sean finished at -7, Gavin at -6 and Cody at -5.

Congrats to newcomer Jason K for joining us for his first round and finishing in first at -4 on the shorts. Cody and Ryan were right behind him I'm sure a couple bogeys were all that separated them from first place.

Happy Monday everyone, up this week we have a bag swap round. This is a great opportunity to try out some new discs from you friends bags.

We will be playing shorts so plenty of birdie and ace opportunities and we plan send off 4 person cards, and there may be some benevolent bag swapping, we will try to avoid you getting a bag similar to what you throw.

**MEET IN THE PARKING LOT AT THE 12TH PRECINCT POLICE STATION BY HOLE 7 OFF 7 MILE ROAD*

If you have a special disc or collectible disc you don't want people throwing make sure you swap that out of your bag before the round, but obviously no sabotage.

We will invite everyone back to come help on the next volunteer day. We may rent a wood chipper and brush hog to do a bit more clearing tbd.

We will try to do 4 person cards for that one to get a good mix of bags. (No sabotage, just bring your regular bag, and if you have a special disc you can't afford to lose take it out and replace it)

This week we are doing a midrange only round (4-5 speed) at the recently cleared out Foz and it's supposed to be warm out!

Rules are pretty simple but I'm sure I'll have questions anyway:

1. You can only use midranges until you are in C1
2. You can use as many discs as you want
3. C2 putts you'll have to putt with a midrange

Looking forward to seeing everyone out there, we received the rest of our prodigy order. $20 for league membership and $15 for each additional disc.

Even if you don't throw prodigy it's still a good wall hanger because it is Saggy Britches "First Officially Stamped Disc"

To celebrate Pi Day we had some Little Caesars for everyone who came out.

We had a balmy 34 degrees and 15mph wind for our first summer league round, but that didn't stop 23 of you from coming out to play.

Ryan B came in first after deciding to turn his round into a 1 disc round with the buzzz

There’s lots of excitement about our first travel league round tomorrow. I’ve had a couple questions so I’ll clarify some confusion

- 3 discs only (no more)

- the mold must come in a starter pack so no buzzz OS if the starter pack only offers a buzzz

- if the disc isn’t on the starter pack list just bring proof it comes in a starter pack if you want to use it

- You can use any grade of plastic you don’t have to throw DX you can use champ or star

- Don’t lose a disc it will become much harder to score well, but if you do you can run back to your car and grab a replacement (trying to avoid people bringing a full bag and potentially using multiple discs to keep it fair)

-Flex start 4:30-5:30 as long as you have a 3-4 card we will send you off
