Well Just one more round of the Ypsi Dubs Tuesday Summer league. Looks like the top position is lock up - congrats Andy - Nice season - but there is still some room for upward mobility in the rest of the leaderboard. This will also be the last round for MiCPS points from Ypsi Dubs Tuesday - another reason to come out as Tuesdays are our largest league rounds and the most points up for grabs.

We are trying to push the start time back a bit to help a few more players make it to Dubs. Reg closes at 6:05 you must be reg'ed and paid by then and at the table by 6:15 when we start.

I'm in Virginia so don't call me but Matt and Chris will be there.

If this works we will keep this later time for a few more weeks until we have trouble with the park closing.

We would like to thanks all who cam out for our MiCPS HLW and congratulate our two MDGO - Michigan State Championship berth winners:

Favreau, Joe - who won the pre-round CTP - Nice Throw Joe

Jopps, Jason - who along with Mike Raley had a fantastic round and ended up -16 to win the round, $80 buck in cash, and 108 points and Jason took home the berth

Nice shooting guy.

I hope everyone enjoyed the day. I will try to get caught up with uploading pictures and videos so everyone can see the fun. Enjoy your Ypsi Dubs Koozies. I think the Video of the pre-round Wobbly Bucket should be fun as well.

July 24th is the Ypsi Dubs Church HLW - the day after the Michigan Brewers fest here in Ypsilanti so hoepfully we get a few extra visitors who come to enjoy a whole weekend of fun.

- We will have 2 new small batch brews on tap, plus releasing the Bourbon Barrel Aged High Five IPA.

- Some fantastic BBQ grub starting at 2pm. BBQ menu for tomorrow includes Smoked Pork, Chicken Legs, and hot link sausage, mac-n-cheese, corn bread and spicy pickles!

- Live music from "Out of the Sun" starts around 8:30pm!!!

Yes it’s our MiCPS-S 2011 Highlighted League of the Week – Double Points and two MDGO Michigan State Championship berths are up for grabs if you don’t already have yours. If you already have one then come for double the fun, double the points and double the normal payouts....

Tuesday June 14th - Rolling Hills - Sunny and 74 degrees - 100% chance of double points

The round starts at 6:00 P.M. sharp. You can call if you’re running late but you must be registered and paid by 5:50.

There will be Two pre-round CTP competitions: One for a MDGO berth - $2 for 2 throws, along with a second pre-round competition sponsored by OG’s in Milan $1 for 2 throws – So be early and get warmed up by winning some goodies.

During the round there will be several regular CTPs, 1 for every 12 players registered, which is included in your $6 registration to play.

We will have our optional Cash Payout CTPs (100% & 50/50) in play as well for $2, which should make these about $50/$25 (depending on turnout and participation).

We have an optional Ace pool for $2 which is currently at $176 plus and it pays out half. We will be playing shorts tomorrow so bring your lucky discs.

That’s a grand total of $10 All In – for all the fun.

The second MDGO berth will be awarded based on the league round scores, going to the top player who does not already have a berth.

With the later start time of 6:00 and it being our MiCPS HLW, which means we usually have a few extra goodies to give away, we expect a few extra players and bunch more fun and double the points.

Yes today we start back up the Original - Ypsi Dubs Tuesday - summer league. 5:30 start time so at 5:20 reg will close - since the park closes early still. As the Sun hangs out longer, so will we and we will be able to push league start to 6:00. For now - we must start at 5:30 to be out in time.

We will be trying the new time of 6:00 this evening for Ypsi Dubs Tuesdays. Reminder - Reg closes at 5:50 - play starts at 6:00 - FIRM. You can call to be reg'd if you are running late but you must be paid in by 5:50 and there by 6:00. If anyone shows after 6:00 they can join any other group and play for CTPs and the Ace pool if they were in but you will not be in for regular payouts and points.

IMPORTANT:
I have heard that since the park has more visitors now they have up'd the monitoring of the park: This means that there is security or police making rounds throughout the park and including the disc golf course, more so on weekend but they could be there any day. Please make sure you are aware of your surroundings. Dogs and Alcohol are not permitted on the course.......

It's going to be a hot one today - hope to see everyone plus a few new faces since we start at the new later time - 6:00
