Awards will be next Wednesday 8/24, thanks to some very smooth magic by Gary Vigil, we should have discs: Jawbreaker Zone / ESP Scorch / Z Buzz / ESP Passion (as well as shirts, baskets, and medals) Please plan for awards to kick off @ 6pm at Burchfield park next Wednesday!

Congratulations to Alex Karr for clearing out the A Pool ace pool for $612!! There was no B Pool ace, so next Wednesday all B Pool players who show up and are in the ace pool will be eligible to throw off for a CTP: Each of the 4 closest players will win $238!

For anyone interested, we will be having a quick club meeting in tandem with the with League Party. STATE BERTHS - We have 6 Berths to award for the league. They will be awarded to the following divisions: MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4, MA40, & FA1. Currently the following would be awarded berths (this is subject to change via points from tomorrow) You will only have until 8/27 to sign up. I will email the MDGO on Wednesday evening after the round to get your berths in, and then you will STILL HAVE TO REGISTER in order to play.

Good Afternoon Everyone! This is the last week of league play! Points have been updated, and drops have been calculated in to the point totals to show you the 12 highest (out of 15) weeks scored so far, so points on the leaderboard are accurate!

Awards will be next week 8/24 @ Burchfield. We may have a delay on the league discs, as there seems to have been a hiccup with Discraft. I will still have baskets, medals, and shirts. I will keep you all posted, should have more info tomorrow.

State berth update forthcoming, they will be awarded Wednesday evening as soon as I get home and input points so you have time to sign up! I will post the winners once points are input and updated after the round.

If no aces are hit this week, we will do a CTP throwoff at the party on 8/24 for a portion, I will likely split each ace pool into 4 pots and award 1/4 to 4 winners.

A Pool this week is playing River's Edge Because we will have both pools at the park, A pool is requested to park down in the River's Edge lot, and to start their round as early as possible due to daylight. OB is as follows: Hole 1: On or over sidewalk left, road beyond pin. Hole 2: On or over parking lot, road long. Hole 3: On or over sidewalk Long. Hole 6: Road and over long. Hole 7: Road and over left. Hole 8: Road and over right. Hole 9: Parking lot right. All other holes play OB in the river.

B Pool will be playing Renegade's Trail Short - Short (Somebody hit that ace!) OB is as follows: Hole 1: In the wooden box, Hole 2: Road and over right. Hole 4: Outside the park left. Hole 6: Sand trap. Hole 7: Sand trap (Rocks are not ob, only sand) Hole 8: Road and over right, water left. Hole 9: Road and over right. Hole 10: Road and over right. Hole 13: Bunker short right. Hole 15: Bunkers. Hole 17: If you do not make the island, play hazard. Hole 18: Road and over right, volleyball sand.

This week A Pool will be playing RT CCR Open B Pool layout WITH OB (paint should still be there) Hole 1: OB along pine trees, painted. Hole 2: OB Road and over right. Hole 3: Long grass left & right are OB, as is long of the basket. Hole 4: Long Grass left. Hole 5: Long grass left, & right. Hole 6: Long grass left & right, sand bunker, OB ends at the path to 7 short. Hole 7: OB long grass left & right ending at the path to hole 6, sand bunker. Hole 8: Road and over right, swamp left. Hole 9: Road and over right. Hole 10: Road and over left. Hole 11: Long grass left and right, OB left ends as marked (past the green of long 15), right ends on the path to hole 12. Hole 12: long grass right. Hole 13: Sand bunkers. Hole 14: No Ob. Hole 15: Long grass left & right, long of basket (painted) and bunkers. Hole 16: No Ob. Good Afternoon All! As you all are aware, there was some severe weather yesterday during leagues. The Trajectory of the storm moving west to east meant it was tapering off in Grand Ledge faster than it would be in Lansing and I gave the executive decision of cancelling the round for B Pool to Ben Gebott who was at the course. He did call the round, so all B pool players will be allowed to shoot a makeup round any time between today and Tuesday 8/9. I will be looking at putting up a UDisc event for the makeup round this evening after I'm finished painting circles at Burchfield for CCR Open. If you would like to play your round before that, normal league rules apply (playing with at least 2 other league members) just send me a screen cap of your score card.

As for A Pool, checking the radar and the lightning map of the area (there were 2 strikes north and south of the park at 3:45 PM that I found) and radar showed the storm to be blowing through. I made the decision that A Pool would still play their round. I know that some players did not feel safe still, and decided not to play. That is totally fair and I respect their decisions. However, 55 other players did complete their round in A Pool, and at this time I have no plans to schedule a makeup round for A Pool.
