C- Grant Saylor Sep 2024 Very narrow and short course, with a couple of longer holes towards the beginning. Bring your best midranges/putters.
C+ Mike LaRue Jul 2024
This course would be great if there was better upkeep. Several of the concrete tee pads are heavily cracked. The course is subjected to flooding issues after a good rain, too. That said, there are ... show more ›
A+ Brandon gabler Mar 2024 My home course, I love it for the skill required (rather than distance); typically very well maintained -- drainage problems are hard to control given the entire town is clay.
C+ Tony A May 2023 Nice neighborhood course for a quick 9 round.

Played for the first time May 2023. All the holes are waterlogged with muddy woods surrounding, but playable if you're creative.

Some cracked tee pads, so be careful.
A- Tom Wagner Jun 2021 This nine hole suburban course is quick and short, mostly technical with shot shaping required, good variety, clean, well maintained and easy to navigate.
C+ Andrew Chappell Jul 2019 Nice park to learn the game or practice but NO elevation changes and only 9 baskets makes it kind of boring, for me.
B Denny Kapp Jul 2019 Great beginners course. First three holes are open, 4th (my favorite) offers a chance to let it rip. It starts through trees and ends in the open. Holes 5-9 are in the woods. Overall short but good run for newbs like me.
A+ Amanda Yee Oct 2018 Very well kept up, the tees are perfect size!
B- Spencer Jones Jul 2017
This was one of my first courses i went to as a beginner. Very easy course to follow and to play. Every hole is a par 3 but they are also Ace Runs. its very close my suburbs and roads but yet still in ... show more ›

Would give it a better review, but after a heavy rain the entire course was a swamp and was unplayable unless you have rainboots on... I spent most of my day looking in the water/woods for my discs in ... show more ›
C+ Jeff Hulet Mar 2017 I played this course for the first time today.
D- connor leidal Sep 2016 Baskets are missing and most holes are under 250. Good beginner course if it gets restored.
B- steve sevonty Apr 2015 Not bad for neighborhood park
C- John Perry Sep 2014 nothing special here but it does offer a beginner course. 9 holes yuck.
D Devon Kearney Aug 2014 CANTON WHAT THE HELL? In a town like this it's interesting to see such a shitty park. Broken bottles everywhere, the par signs are gone it's just sad. It's too overgrown and I think there needs to be a cleanup there that I myself would participate in.
B Chad klavinger Aug 2014 My home course, for nine holes its got a decent mix of open and wooded shots, the wooded shots have somewhat narrow throwing lanes making you really think about your shot or you're in the woods. Still kind of wish it had a few longer shots.
B- Wade Calvert Aug 2014 Nice little warm up round course. Good for short game work. Needs cleaned up bad though broken beer bottles everywhere
A Kayla MacRae Aug 2014 I like it I just hate losing my disc all the time
C- Brian Sweet Jul 2014 Very simple course. Not bad for beginners, but once it rains hard it tends to stay wet, and make sure you have bug spray.
C- Christopher Graham Jun 2015 This course is a swamp if it's rained within a week. Ducks were literally swimming on the first tee. And if you throw a disc into the trees to the side... be prepared to be knee deep in swamp water. POISON IVY.
B+ Levi Cavender Sep 2013
So many negative reviews... Freedom Park is by no means a bad course. It is small, but it requires you to make accurate throws. Pull a throw too far left or right and you can end up deep in the woo ... show more ›
B+ Kevin Reddy Sep 2013 Challenging course with some tight fairway shots and blind shots, too. Would play again if nearby.
C Steve Albert Jul 2015 Great beginner course! No difficult holes, all ace-able.
B- Josh Timm Aug 2013 A very good practice course.
B- Gary Frader May 2013 Nice little practice course
C+ Don Slater May 2013 Great practice course; goes by quick. Almost always go through 2x.
C+ Timmy Redman May 2013 really nasty after big rains, some holes the woods is all water
B- Alex Jerden May 2013 A short course that doesn't offer anything too challenging but it is a good beginner/practice course that takes about 30 minutes for a round of 18 (2x through) Not as bad as everyone makes it out to be
A- Steven Suminski Mar 2013 it was muddy but a fun course
C Angel Gilbert Aug 2012 a bug infested little nine hole course in westland not canton. good for beginners for sure very short holes lots of ace runs.
A+ Mitchell Spillard Aug 2012 Great course it's a great practice for putting and medium throws.
B+ Eric Carter Jul 2012
Pros: This short wooded course provides some interesting right turning mid-range tees. Its a good course for practicing forehand throwing or for left-handed players. Its a quick course in a growing su ... show more ›
C Roger Hobbs Jul 2012 It's just a fun course for working on your accuracy, because the holes are all really short.
B+ Kyle Wilkinson Jul 2012
This is a course I play a lot. Most holes are very short so it is easy to over throw them. The woods are very tight so if your shot is slightly off it will go into the woods and the woods are pretty ... show more ›
B Jim Jean Jun 2012 Fun little course
A- Dave Z May 2012 Local course, a good way to kill 30 minutes..... Not the greatest, but good enough.
C+ Ben Ogden May 2012 Nice short course. Keep an eye out for Poison Ivy in the OB
C+ Nick Oliver May 2012 Freedom is a fun control and putter course when not under water. Only a couple drives around 300, but if you play safari you can lengthen a few holes to 400.
C Bill Bell Jul 2011 It is what it is. A place to get out for a quick round on a day I can't go out further. It has definitely taught me the importance of keeping the disc in play.

It is what you make of it. A classy par 2 course in a classy town. Haters like scotty poo poo white don't deserve to call this city of mine home. The normal layout is actually quite fun, and is a grea ... show more ›
C- Hunter S. Dotson May 2022 Pitch and putt 9 hole in the 'Burbs of Canton. Considering the location and ability to play 18 in under an hour, I give it a C-. Safari holes make it more of a challenge for those who are up for it.
D Scott White Sep 2010
