A- James Franz Jun 2023 Great wooded course with some awesome lines.

This course values control over power. Great place to practice your line shaping. Completely wooded. Back 9 has a beautiful creek winding through a few holes with great elevation changes. Only c ... show more ›
B Brendan Merna Aug 2021 When I've played the long holes at Chili and Parma too much I like Basil for testing out my technical shots. A lot more shots here that require a forehand to get through the tight gaps. Great course, if you only hit 10 trees you probably had a decent round.
A- Matt Coultas May 2019 I really enjoy wooded golf so this course definitely gets a good review from me. One of my favorites in NY so far. Need well placed shots or it can eat you up.
B+ Kyle Myers Jul 2018 Very wooded. With that said, its a great course. Theres a good amount of technical shots and its a good forehand and backhand course. The course was well taken care of as well.
B+ Tom Mulgrew Jul 2018 This is a beautiful course set in the woods. Every hole has both a forehand and back hand route and you can reach the basket if you throw with accuracy. The course is well marked. It is multi use so watch for bikers and foot traffic.
A- Patrick Treude Aug 2019 All 18 holes in the woods. You have a great mix of tight technical holes, strategic par 4's, and short tricky holes. You have little to no advantage if you're a long thrower. I felt at home with this style of course. Very enjoyable. Easy to navigate and nice tee signs to guide the first-timers.
A- TD Gillett Jun 2017 My favorite local course- heavily wooded for all 18 holes, BM forces you to be accurate off the tee, and be very good at recovery shots. Awesome year-round course.
B+ David Needle Aug 2015 playing disc golf in the woods its great, trees and a stream makes it more challenging and fun......nice course
A+ James Pier III Feb 2014 Best course in Rochester for all players...The trees are the "Great Equalizer!"
B+ Ben Creger Nov 2013 Very technical course. Gotta hug a tree or two before the round. There are some lines on every hole but you still gotta get lucky. The back nine is extremly nice with some cool elivation and a nice stream that comes into play on 3 holes.

Since I am new my review won't hold as much merit as those more experienced but I enjoyed the course since it seemed to be less about distance and more about accuracy. + Benches at most of the hol ... show more ›

I loved this wooded course! Great for working on line shaping thru the many trees. Lots of trees but fair paths to the baskets with a properly placed drive. Not much underbrush at all. Cool elevated b ... show more ›
