So, you’ve come to play the monster? Let’s unpack this. First off, unless you’re a mighty sender — play the front tees. Even the middle tees are really challenging for average players. Stepping back to the farthest tees would be something for only very skilled players with big distance. I would have to say that this course is very hard and maybe that’s all that really needs to be said. I love coming here to see how my game holds up under pressure. Because you’re gonna have blow-up holes here.

With that out of the way, let’s hit the highlights: scenery and course setup / design are second to none. This isn’t your typical ‘let’s go down to the park and throw some frisbees’ course. It’s a true test of serious players’ ability. So much elevation change. Signature J. Gary short downhill par 3’s provide some relief. Bring water.

Hole #9 really stands out as a front nine highlight — BOMB of a par 3 down through - or maybe up over - a striking downhill valley. On the back nine, my pick of the litter is #16 which is a very strong par 5 through the forest along a ridge to the left that can end your day early. #18 is also a very tough finishing hole, daring you to try to make a par on your way out.

Very long and fun course.

This course will challenge every aspect of your game. not only having all of the disc golf shots but also endurance as well. The custom stone work and well defined fairways are some key features here. The baskets are innova discatcher pro 28s in yellow that stand out in the woods. The tee pads are top notch, 5'x15' concrete and really grippy. Tee signage is really helpful as well with elevation changes and pindicators telling you which location the pin in currently in. Each hole has a next tee sign as well as indicators on each basket that points you to the next tee. For an 80 acre area it is hard to get lost with these features. also each tee sign has a QR code that you can scan that gets you all the course maps and tee signs. There is a good mix of left and right holes, up and down, wooded and less wooded. This is mostly woods golf so be prepared for that. The amenities are good as well. There is a bottle fill station at the main parking lot next to a pavilion. this also happens to be between 9 and 10 as well so you can refill. there are bathrooms across the parking lot. There is a disc return box to deposit any found discs and it is emptied regularly with discs being returned. you can even fill out a lost disc form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfdymyX10cnS5b7s_l4s01BhefdkcPDrvOtIFAhPG9V2R16Dg/viewform to say you lost an item on the course. 3 sets of tee pads gold, blue, and white. 3 pin locations. with an over 10,000 ft layout from the tips and a par 71 it is definitely a championship level course.

This is the first discgolf course I have ever played that feels like a full round of golf.
Par 71 with 4 par 5, 9 par 4s and 5 par 3s all of which can be challenging from each of the three different tee configurations. The different tee pads give completely different looks on almost every hole. With the exception of the similarity between hole 4 and 12, the designer loves wooded down hole putter shots, every hole feels unique and challenging in their own ways.

I consider this to be the best disc golf course in western pa. It has the best of Appalachian woods disc golf taking to the extreme. Hills, valleys and tight wooded lines that challenge distance and control on every hole.

It is possible to get a bad tree kick into some jaggers but the underbrush on most holes is very well managed and the fairways, while covered with trees, and mostly cleared of ivy and bushes.

A full round will likely be 2+ hours, during which your mental and physical game will be tested. I dont think it is possible to play this course without getting at least a few tree kicks and some roll aways.

First of all, let me just say that North Boundary (or NoBo) is a BEAST. This is easily the most challenging course I have played or hiked. Rollaways are a present threat on almost every shot, and lord help you if you get too far off the fairway.

That being said, NoBo is absolutely stunning. So much custom stone work, amazing views and just an overall well thought out design. This course tests your endurance, shot selection, distance and accuracy. 18 Discatcher baskets, 3 very grippy concrete tees per hole. Parking lot is big with a pavilion and restrooms close by.

I really think this is a course that could challenge the pro's. I look forward to seeing some pro tour events at this course in the future!

Course is long and challenging. Great separation between Gold, Blue and white tees allow for usage by varying skill levels. Some holes still have lines that are being worked on and will develop overtime. Many funnel shots and in some cases poke and pray holes that need a clearly defined line established.

The amenities at this park are excellent but be prepared for a hike. Benches are on many of the holes, both 1 and 10 start near the main parking lot so it’s easy replenish supplies at the turn.

It is important to take what the course gives you. Try to take too much and you will find yourself in double bogey town and your round spiraling out of control real quick.

Probably the hardest course I have ever played, which is why I keep coming back. It’s a great challenge each and every round and you need to earn your birdies and pars. Expect to shoot over par and realize that if you are a around par at the rounds end.....that you played exceptionally well

This course will assert its will on you so bring a well rounded game because you will be throwing backhands, forehands, thumbers, tomahawks, and even the occasional roller. You will need to hit landing zones, play to prefered sides of the fairways, and land approaches in specific areas on the green. This course is a blast to play.

(seemed longer) Hole 3: Par 4 Incredibly steep uphill 400ft. (seemed longer). You get the idea. I do love hole #5. I have now played it several times. It is growing on me. There are 3 tees for every hole. White, Blue, & Gold. I am unashamed to like the white tees the most.

This ADA accessible Learn to Play course is designed well for its purpose. It is great for building on your skills. The holes gradually get longer with a dogleg par 4 in there. then some slope and forehands or turnovers are mixed in. It is pretty open and beginner friendly but also a great place for experienced players to get some short game practice. There is only 1 set of tees but they are artificial turf connected to paved paths. This course also feature discatcher pro 28s like its championship sibling across the way. Except these are cranberry colored for the holes A-F instead of yellow for holes 1-18 of the championship course. hard to confuse. This is a great place to start in the sport whether you are 50 or 5.
