Course is awesome and for the adventurous type. The course is full of surprises and fun. It is not a course that many people play and ALOT of people won't due to the terrain. Hole 1 I LOVE!!!!! You shoot down the stairs(I suggest you have someone spot you also be careful on stairs they are not in the best of condition) than across to the basket( this hole isn't that bad is you have good control) Hole 2 for example has an elevation of about 63ft, you start at the bottom of the hill shoot up a very steep hill(horrible and almost impossible to get up if it is muddy) than down an even steeper hill. Hole 3 isn't that bad except for the drop off on the east side of the course. Holes 4-8 are not that bad again though the more accurate your throws the better. The rest you will have to play for yourself to experience I don't want to give it all away.
Terrain(be prepared for a hike): trees everywhere(especially where you don't want them lol),hills and cliffs, water, some stairs(manmade and natural)
Suggestion before playing: lots of bug spray, back up disc, good shoes or even hiking boots, preferably pants, water, first aid kit, RESEARCH the course lay out before you play(use satellite view there are maps that are not accurate)
Suggestion for Course: trash can availability is needed, a better map of the course lay out, easier access up the hills, TOO much broken glass and trash(My main concern was the amount of broken glass)
Suggestion for playing and players: not recommended for beginners(in my opinion the more accurate your shots the better),research the course satellite map and maybe walk the course before going to play to get an idea of what you are in for, take a buddy you'll need the spotter at times or just an extra set of eyes to find your disc, if you take stuff in take it back out with you trash cans are NOT available and keep in mind this is a nature preserve and there are kids that go to day camp here be respectful, be careful one of my biggest concerns was the amount of broken glass I personally was concerned about slipping or falling and getting cut due to the amount of broken glass and because when I went it was the day after a good rain so everything was nice a slippery(I do NOT suggest), have fun and do not be scared off by the terrain the course is a lot of fun if you just give it a chance.
In conclusion all in all it is a great course in progress and would hate to see the work stop. It would be nice for the help and resources to be available to continue the work on the course and by hopefully doing so it will improve the reputation of the park.
