This is a great course for elevation changes, right turns, putter drives, and pipe shots training. Just what I needed! On paper, it is too short to give an A but it actually plays a lot farther because of the drastic elevation changes. There is a water hazard, but the rough is generally very forgiving. It has several short holes, but the mixture of rights, lefts, wooded, open, ups, and downs makes it a fun, challenging rhythm.

This was the second time I have played Sertoma field since the leaves have been out. The course plays a little different than in the winter. The first, second and fifth holes have a lower ceilings than in the winter. Also, with a good portion of the course in the woods, it plays much tighter, requiring better throws to stay in the fairways.

I am Mark Reed writing for my son Karl who is 9 years old now, but did play on this course at 2 and a half. This was a fantastic course from what I remember. I really hope to make it back out here to see how much we have improved since 2009. I do not remember which holes were which, but I do recall a few. One of my favorites were on with a down hill shot. I nailed the chains and thought I had my first ace. I walked down to the bottom of the hill only to see my disc laying in the dirt up on the little hill. I have yet to nail my first ace.
