Situated in a beautiful public park, similar to Midland's Little Lake, the course has great views of Boulevard Lake, the northern pines and mature birch. Across the water is some mini putt, tennis courts and snacks are available. There is also a paved trail that goes around the lake providing some fantastic views.

The course layout was changed in 2017, with new concrete tee pads, that plays longer and more challenging. New tee signs are in the works, but the current signs (as of April 7, 2018) depicts the old course layout.
