We have divisions based on people to show up usually just pro and am but we will also alternate playing doubles also which
Today we might do our first. You don't have to pay to play that is just for the competitive side of some of us. Four dollars is buy in which goes to hundred percent payout and one dollar for the ace pot. Look forward to expanding the local Salem area Disc golfers. We also want to give back to the Salem hospital and so soon I'll be throwing a tourney which will have buy in of like 20 and 4 used older discs. The discs will be donated to the hospital in effort to better their play and expand the disc options. Also I talked with Jeff and he said if we could give the paitience right away everytime and no vaping or smoking on property. Thank u for the time and hope to see u out there

- The Bite and Brew has been around for a while setting up shop at the Riverfront every summer with the best food venues, beer venues and live entertainment. This year is a little bit different:


For the first time ever, the Bite will have DISC GOLF!!


- Locals Route Disc Golf will have a booth set up promoting the great game of DISC GOLF as well as my new business!!! :) Come check out the great DG merch Ive got for sale too…SWEET stuff for sure!!


- Chances to win awesome prizes and bang chains while doin it :) Cant beat that!


- There will be putting lessons for those who are new to the game or just don’t know how to putt !! :)

Woodmansee Course Update
Just back in from course walk thru with Parks Supervisor and assistant. We came to some verbal agreements for moment which will be turned into written agreements down the line after few more items worked out. I will be point of contact for now for this process of course maintenance agreement with Parks department. Short term this means beginning next week I will be allowed to begin doing some work, volunteers will need to contact me and get proper paperwork signed before doing any work on course. Hopefully mowing of fairways will be moved up parks priority list, if not then may be time consuming weed whacking, will know more on that part end of next week.
It's a start to what I hope will become long term agreement for the best of all park users, not just us. I do have to deal with some naturalists about some of the clearing.
Will keep all up to date and contact me if interested in helping out to keep our course playable and parks department requirements satisfied.

So after 6 hours of running my weed wacker last 2 days have been able to assist making dent in work still needed to finish up course for this weekend. The main (one of them) and most important thing left at moment is mowing 3-5 foot tall field fairways. If anyone has access to or knows anyone that could possibly assist us on this task please contact myself here, Jason Bruster, or Mike Wilson. I really hope someone can give us a big assist with this. Woodmansee Course Update

I was able to attend Salem Parks Board meeting last night and voiced my opinion on the course maintenance and was received well I believe. Today I received word from Parks Operation that I will be hearing from John Kleeman next week to arrange a walk thru of the course to discuss my issues and what can we do together to get and keep course in best possible playing condition into the future. I am sorry about the tall grass and other problems at this time but please bear with me and I will be looking for support and assistance as time goes on and agreements are made.
I do not plan on backing down or being told someone else is going to handle it like happened couple years ago. Past is past and future hopefully looking good for this fine course.

Get their early at 5pm because PacWest Carnival Toss will be in place, so bring a few bucks to try your luck at some skill shots to win some prizes!
