I am planning on running the summer league this year, as long as there are no objections from the peoples.

Unfortunately, I have class on Thursdays for 2 more weeks after today. I am hoping that someone will be able to take over for the next 3 weeks, until I can take over. It will be relatively easy because there will be no handicaps to deal with until my first week back. Is there anyone that is willing to do this? Ferrel Mejeur has printed off scorecards and can get them to whomever is willing to run the show tonight.

Format for the league will be the exact same as when the Dogg was running things, with handicap, ace pool, and CTP/LP weekly. Handicaps will reset starting the first week (hopefully today)

Please let me know if you have any suggestions on changes or format that you think would be good for the league. I hope everyone will be willing to step up and fill in when it is needed.

Its that time again, McNasty Summer League!

Singles league will start this Thursday April 6 at 6pm and the cost is $5 per week (please try to be at the course no later

then 5:50 or call ahead). THe format will be same as last year. Hanicaps will not be rolled over from last year so all

players must play three rounds to establish a handicap, on the fourth week you will no longer play course par rather your

average from the past three rounds. That will continue as long as you play league, ie your three previous rounds average

will be your handicap for the next week.

Ace pool is included in your entry fee ($1 per week per person) and will be open for any player for the first three weeks

of play. After week three only players with established handicaps will be elidgble for the total ace pool, all others will

only get the day of ace pool.

Our friends at Sweet Spot Disc Golf will again be helping us with CTPs and LPs at a reduced cost. There will be at least

one CTP or LP per week, the fee for this will be taken out of the total buy-ins per week (Its only $10 or less).

Out of bounds rules will be in effect for all singles league play. The only addition to previous set OB's will be the

fenced in area on hole #6 where the shuffle board courts are. If you end up in there take a drop outside the fence where it

first went over or re-tee, both encur a stroke penalty. If you don't know the set OB's and what to do if you land in them

please ask me.

Just like last year there will also be two mandos added to the course to promote safety and make the course a bit more

difficult. Mandos will be marked on trees with orange tape. The first Mando will be on hole #3. Players must pass by the

marked tree on the left side of said tree. If you fail to do so you can either try to throw back around on the proper side

(basically going backward to go forward) or you may take a drop from the short #3 teepad with a stroke penalty. The second

mando will be on hole #7. Again a tree will be marked and you must pass by it on the left side. If you miss the mando, just

like on #3, you have the option of trying to throw back around it the proper way or taking a drop on the top of the

sledding hill with a stroke penalty.

Singles league will start this Thursday April 7 at 6pm and the cost is $5 per week (please try to be at the course no later then 5:50 or call ahead). For the first 3 weeks it will be up for any player, after week 3 only players who have played at least 3 singles rounds this year will be able to get full amount, other players will get the week total. As all of the snow cover that shields us from the toxic ground is melting away, the TOXIC stench will soon be strong enough to test even the best of gag reflexes. With temps creeping toward 60 degrees, and strong gale force winds coming off the TOXIC lagoon, there is no wondering why tonight's dirty round will be the most TOXIC to date. STFU #1 is reading at 5.4, while STFU #2 is reading at 5.9... Anyone that can make it through tonight's round is cordially invited to the White House for some dirty car bombs. See you on the course.

Due to toxic levels last week Kilgore Trout may not be with us much longer, he complained of chronic diarrhea, dillusions of persecution, and Achluophobia (Fear of darkness). It is our mission, through our professional toxicologist, to provide accurate information pertaining to toxic levels which exceed normal levels of safety. we are accepting volunteers to cover for Mr. Trout's responsibilities in his absence, (tee pad clearing and upkeep). For tonights Dirty Dirty League the toxic fume level is a 1. The cold ass temperatures have almost completely frozen all the fumes, thus rendering their toxic stenches useless. Tonight may be the only night in your life to go play polluted McGraft Park without having to worry about the STANK. See you all tonight.

If you are worried that you might lose a disc, you probably will, don't throw your prized discs, and make sure your lights are secure prior to league play.
We played night golf last week at McGraft and it was tough at times. I would recommend ribbons as well as LEDs(the brighter the better street lights on the top are a bitch). The main thing is having a good idea what you are throwing, and where it is going to go. the rest us up to luck and good fortune with trees and toxic water. . hopefully we will get some melt down before then

Be here around 5:30pm so we can tee off no later than 6:00pm
Due to current weather conditions and daylight savings this will be a Glo or night golf league, please have discs illuminated prior to league rounds and ribbons help too.
Each player must play 3 rounds to get their average which then becomes their initial handicap. The lowest possible handicap is zero (even) for those who average under par, and all handicaps will be adjusted accordingly.
Payouts based on attendance. First three weeks will go to low rounds scratch. Week 4 will begin handicaps for those who have played 3 weeks.
