Hello Fellow Disc Golfers,

We would like to ask you all to show your support for honoring Leroy Jenkins by signing a petition requesting the City of Medina to name the Medina Disc Golf Course at Roscoe-Ewing and Sam Masi Parks after Leroy. We would like to gather 1,000 signatures by August 1st to present to the city. On Sept. 2nd. There is an unsanctioned, singles tournament in honor of Leroy at the Medina course. We would hope to have some preliminary response from the city by then to announce at the tournament. Registration for the tournament is now open and you are all invited to play.

Who is ready for some Friday A/B Doubles?!?! THEY'RE BACK! Starting this Friday March 19th Friday Doubles will be back at Oak Ledges @ Lincoln Park! 5:30pm sharp start. PLEASE be at course & checked in by 5:20pm or have someone tell us you're coming. $5 plus $1 optional ace pot. We'll be using UDisc for scoring so please set up an account if you plan on attending. Concrete Tees for Veterans Parks - Give some love back to disc golf.

Veterans (Schneider) Park will be getting concrete tees if we can get enough volunteers to help with the forming and pour. We would like to do it on March 20th or 27th depending on weather. The park will dig out the pads and drop some stone off. We will need to run the gravel out to the tees, level it and set forms on the Friday before. On Saturday, Cory King can arranged for ready mix concrete to be delivered in the morning. We will need to wheelbarrow the concrete to the tees, pour and finish them. We will need (2) 2-person finishing crews and at least 6 wheelbarrow drivers plus another 2 assistants for odd jobs. If you have finishing tools or wheelbarrows, let us know.

Let's go LADIES! We have something special for you, but you have to register by Cinco de Mayo, or we are opening the spots to those on the waitlist.

This inaugural 1-day PDGA-B-tier tournament has $1000 added cash to the pro divisions, Am player package worth more than $75, lunch provided, and a player social afterward at Numbers brewery in Lisbon.

The event is part of the NEO Summer Series, and played on the par-64 course true to its name.

The focus will be raking fairways, cutting up and removal of the downed limbs/trees, and debris scattered about the course. Let's get the ground cleaned up!
This primarily involves holes: 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 13, 15, 16, 18

Rakes, wheel barrows, loppers, and a couple chain saws should help get things going.

Save the date!! The funnest day of disc golf is less then 2 monthes away, Sunday, September 16th at Lake Shore Park in Ashtabula Ohio is the 2018 Sticky Fingers. This is a truely unique disc golf event and one that you definitely don't want to miss. There will be a rib burn off with tons of awesome food, live music, cold beer, classic car cruise in, and a fun 2 part disc golf event, fun for the whole family!! Part 1 is a Birdie Bash where everyone plays from the red tees and gets 2 shots to score points by getting an Ace, a birdie, or hitting metal. Part 2 is a bring your own partner doubles scamble where you will get to choose which tees you play from (red, white, or blue) so all skill levels are welcome.
