UNTIL SUNDAY MAY 5: We are holding 4 more spots for women (2 FPO and 2 FA) in the June 1 Scenic Vista Challenge.
Let's go LADIES! We have something special for you, but you have to register by Cinco de Mayo, or we are opening the spots to those on the waitlist.

This inaugural 1-day PDGA-B-tier tournament has $1000 added cash to the pro divisions, Am player package worth more than $75, lunch provided, and a player social afterward at Numbers brewery in Lisbon.

The event is part of the NEO Summer Series, and played on the par-64 course true to its name.

After an awesome discussion with PK Deaner about a NEO Points Series, SPring Meltdown will be Event #1, Beauty and the Beast will be Event #2 and Flight of the Zeppelins will be Event #3. It would be awesome to be able to run this series through the NEO Open and have as many NEO stops as we can fit into it between #3 and then.

We were also talking about doing both shirts and bag tags for the series. With this in mind, we need to think about funding and art work. The shirts are not a problem, I have a huge stock of blank shirts and a tee shirt press in my basement, I will front the shirts and give 100% of the profits to NEO Alliance Fund for future DG endeavors.

PK came up with the idea to have a design contest for the Shirts and Tags. The same art work will be used for both pieces (assuming everyone is on board with both pieces for the series). We are still working on the details for the contest and the prize for the winner, but it will be sweet and we do want to get a design as soon as possible so I can have shirts ready by Meltdown on 4/19.

Due to overwhelming requests for participation in the Roscoe’s Rage event on July 8th, we have decided to open the field to 90 players.

There is only one change we have made to help us run this event smooth and successfully.

Roscoe’s Rage WILL NOW BE PRE-PAID REGISTRATION ONLY… you can pay for the event in two separate ways to ensure that all information needed by us will be obtained.

1) pay through the PDGA sign up section that is linked to Roscoe’s Rage on www.PDGA.com.
2) you can pay an officer of the Summit Disc Golf Association that will be working on this event.

All players who are currently on the list (and waiting list) will be guaranteed a spot until June 29th. After that payment deadline the spots will be given to any person who pays the entry fee. Online registration through the PDGA website will be open until July 6th, but your spots will only be held for you until June 29th.
IF there are any openings on the day of the tournament we will take cash registration the morning of the event… But you will not receive a tee shirt for the event.

Look for the link on the PDGA site soon. It is not up now but the confirmation e-mail has been sent and it should be up shortly.
