I would like to thanks those who could make it out to the first ever Putting tournament at the Labyrinth at Rolling Hills. I know the date was not great given all the other events going on around but it was a great time and helped to lay the foundation for future events. 11 players played "3 for 2" (2 discs) 1 point for 1 made shot and 3 poinst for 2 made shots - max pts 54.
The scores help paint the picture of which holes are the most challenging. Hole 15 gave up the most points. 6 players hit Doubles for 3 points and two other players got 1. Holes 6, 13, 17 & 18 gave up the least - or were the toughest holes for this round only giving up 4 total points with no doubles.
Bruno & Foz both shot 18 and Ryan Best had the hot round and the new Tournament course record for "3 for 2" with 19 points out of 54. Nicely done and a nice $80 payout. Bruno took home $40 for this round.
The Stats by hole can be seen in the Pictures:

For the 2nd round of the day - "1 Disc" round. (More like tournament play but not as fun as "3 for 2") we had 9 players competing.
For this round the most hit holes, giving up 5 points each, were 1,5, 11 & 12. Hole 18 was the only hole no one made. The top point total were by Bruno and Foz tied at 10 points so we split the $90.00. The new Tournament record for 1 Disc is now 10 points out of 18.
So the Discraft Chainstar Lite went to Bruno for the best round of the day and he sold it so both Him and Jake Schooley walked away happy.
A fun Luck of the Draw Doubles round took place since these rounds go a lot faster than playing 18 on the regular course. We played "5 for 4", an extra point of both partners hit both putts in the same hole. We decided from now on to play 6 for 4 - just the double version of "3 for 2".
For this round again holes 1, 11 & 12 gave up the most points or were the eaisest and this time hole 13 was the toughest giving up no points at all. The only Double Doubles were Ryan & Foz on Holes 1 & 11 to help reach 30 points out of 90 for 5 for 4.
Again thanks for all who participated and who supported this course going in. Putting League in the Fall after States.
Peace and Enjoy the Rounds.
