On August 6 and 7, women from all around the world will play two rounds of disc golf at their local participating PDGA Women's Global Event (WGE). Scores from each participating tournament will be submitted by the individual tournament directors and rated by the PDGA. These round ratings will be totaled and averaged to determine the player's "Global Score." The Global Scores will be updated throughout the day to determine the Women’s Global Event Champions and the winner in each division will receive a memorable trophy.
Please join us on Saturday, August 6 for Western Washington's Women's Global Event, which will be a one day, two round tournament at Frederickson Wilderness Park in Poulsbo, Washington.
All players will be playing for trophies and pros will be playing for cash. All amateur players will receive player packs. Juniors will play one round, beginning in the afternoon.
Not a PDGA member? Good news: the PDGA is waiving the non-member fee for this event!
Girls playing in FJ12 or younger will play only the afternoon round. Please plan to arrive and check-in between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m. at Tournament Central. Per the PDGA Competition Manual, parents/guardians must be responsible for their children during PDGA sanctioned events.
The gate does not open until 8 a m. Please do not arrive earlier. Parking is limited so carpooling is appreciated. Please plan ahead and bring lunch with you, as it may be difficult to leave the parking lot at lunch. We are looking forward to seeing everyone!
