About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Grit & Grace is excited to be hosting Women Strolling Rolling, the fourth event in the 2023 Michigan Women's Series. This will be a two round PDGA sanctioned event at Rolling Hills County Park in Ypsilanti, MI.
Layout will be:
Pro divisions (except for FP70) play longs both rounds
FA1 will play longs first round & short pads second round
All other Amateur players and FP70 players will play from shorts both rounds.
Juniors will only play the first round
The Michigan Women's Series is providing 4 berths to the 2023 Michigan State Disc Golf Championships. The four largest amateur divisions will have a berth awarded to an eligible player; Currently FA1, FA2, FA3 and FA4 divisions.
We will have breakfast snacks available at registration. Lunch will be provided for all players & caddies. Please indicate at check-in if you prefer a vegetarian or vegan option.
Player packs will be provided to all divisions. CTPs will be division-based, except for the two 50/50 CTPs and an all-division CTP for a $50 OTB gift card.
We will be having a raffle, organized by the lovely Mel Rose, that will be available to anyone interested in participating. We have a lot of unique and high-end prizes, including a Rovic Cart donated by Disc Baron! You will be able to choose which items you’d like to place your ticket in for, much like our event last year. The tickets will be: 1 for $5, 3 for $10, 7 for $20 or 40 for $100. Cash is preferred, but we will have PayPal or Venmo options as well.
There will also be a putting challenge held at the Labyrinth Putting Course during lunch. This will be done in groups with one putter per player to reduce the time/energy to get through it. The player with the most putts made will win a basket. If there’s a tie, we will have a CTP throw-off.
We will have canopies set up for protection against the elements, but no pavilion. Please feel free to bring a camping chair/disc golf stool or an easy-up if you’d like.
Payouts and Refunds will be directed by WC Glow. Refunds will be granted in full (other than DGS/Paypal fees) with a 48 hour notice, after that it will be at the TD’s discretion.
