Winter Wizards 17 is this weekend!
Looks like even though we are mid April we will have the winter setting for our event. Please come prepared for the cold, especially if camping, it will be about 10° cooler there than the Salt Lake City forecast. There is a possibility of rain up there Saturday.
Bring as much firewood as possible!
We will have a bunch of propane heaters for the patio around tournament central, where there is also a fire pit.
I need to know what times and days volunteers will be available?
Please message me so I can get everyone organized to their available times.
Those who are loaning baskets for this event.
Please message me so we can make arrangements if we haven't already.
Camping will be available Thursday through Sunday nights.
We need everything cleaned and packed out Monday afternoon.
There is no cell service at camp.
You can drive down the road a couple of minutes if you need to make a call.
We will not be able to paypal or venmo there. Please bring cash.
If you have some two way radios bring them, I will have mine.
I am planning on letting people check in Friday evening. This will be contingent on having the course ready for play. The need to move snow may postpone us. I will drive up there Wednesday evening to see how much has accumulated and I will be in and out all day Thursday and Friday getting everything there and set up.
When arriving. The gate will be closed, latched by a carabiner.
Please make sure you close the gate behind you. This will help to prevent walkers, fishers, explorers from driving in and getting locked in.
I will have a sign on the gate as a reminder.
Can someone bring a propane grill, or, if we could get two or three people to bring the tabletop grills?
Please message me if you can.
I'm estimating a 3 to 4 hour round depending on conditions.
We are playing one round of 33 Saturday and one round of 33 Sunday.
Check in Friday night for those camping or up there volunteering.
Saturday

Player meeting at 11:00 am.
Shotgun start at 12:00 am.

Sunday
