We generally take it on a case by case basis. Because of the nature of events filling so quickly, many players will sign up for a event way ahead of time and then their rating may change right before the event. Since this is an unsanctioned event, we typically use our own discretion to determine whether there is an unfair advantage. I think +/- 10 ratings points is about the max we would allow depending on who their partner is.
