The Frankfort Disc Golf Association Inc. in collaboration with West Sixth Farm Brewery is proud to announce this grand opening event. On Saturday, May the 21st, be among the first to tackle this soon to be installed, 18 hole course in a competitive yet casual, unsanctioned, disc golf tournament. This will be a flex-start format with player selected tee times between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Note: Par will be set at 54. Your stats and feedback from this event will help to set the final par for the course.

Entry Fees: All divisions $25. We will be offering all divisions and cards may be mixed. 1 in 5 players in each division will receive payout. This will be a cash payout event and all disc golf vendors are invited to setup for the day.

Registration opens Monday, April the 25th at 8:00PM. 100 player cap! Visit www.discgolfscene.com/firstflights to register and select your division and tee time. Players can edit their registration at any time if they’d like to make changes.

Scoring: Par will be set at 54. Your stats and feedback from this event will help to set the final par for the course. We will be using the UDisc app for scoring. Please sign-up for a free UDisc account beforehand and select the appropriate division before tee-off.

Player’s Party and Awards: As we watch the final cards throw down the hill and over the pond, we will be having a player’s party up at the taproom. We’re planning on a host of bonus games for even more cash or prizes.

If you’re thirsty, the Tap Room will be open throughout the day. They will be serving an event special, the “First Flights” sampler of beers along with their many other fine craft brews and concoctions. They’ll also have a food truck onsite throughout the day serving a variety of highly rated cuisine.

We look forward to any and all feedback regarding the course. Keep in mind that this event marks the first tournament where the course is fully playable. There are many projects yet to be completed such as run-up and run-off areas, permanent tee signs and directional signs, bridges, stairs. Many, many great things are to come.
