Your starting hole for round one is listed at
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/54218 In the morning check again your starting time to confirm nothing has changed. Changes should be very unlikely and only if absolutely needed. A few minutes after the last card for round 1 is finalized we will shuffle the cards and publish where you start for round 2. The last card will have at least 35 minutes. We will be shuffling cards between rounds for each division.
Some cards may have 3 people; if it is time to start and you only have 1 or 2 people you cannot start; wait where you are for the next group and play with them keeping scores separate.
Each card must have two people keeping score. Open person must keep score via the PDGA website and another person any other way you want. We will not have paper score cards. The PDGA site now has the ability for two people to both keep score on the same card at the same time. We have set up layouts on the PDGA site. PDGA.comscores code Upshot
For OB rulings, group decision is needed. If you can’t decide, give the benefit to the player; when in doubt play a provisional. Player must declare loudly they are playing a provisional.
No two-meter rule; no special island rules. Everything is standard PDGA rules.
Bring plenty of water; and this may be a good time for this year to wear sunscreen & bug spray.
The B.S. Bochantin Upshot store will be open during the entire event. We accept Venmo, Paypal, Cash and your unwanted discs.
For those swapping their unwanted plastic, give us your discs before the first or second round. We will value them as you play, and you can spend that value after you finish. We are not accepting any swaps after you finish. DX are $1 value currently.
We will be paying out approximately the top 40% of the division. Please stay for your winnings.
For any first-place tie breaker playoffs, start hole 17 blue tee to blue basket and continue till a winner is clear.
We have currently collected $240 for the ace pot. If you did not pay online, you can pay the $5 as you sign in. For the side game for 'Ace Pot/Side Games' we will be awarding $2 for every birdie and $10 for every eagle.
All players will play from short tee pads both rounds.
MPO, FPO, MP40, MA1 play long baskets both rounds.
MA2, MA40 play long baskets first round and short baskets second round
FA1, MA3 play short baskets both rounds.
The only changes we are making from the standard course is we are having two OB graveyards on holes 7 and 13.
