I know A lot of people confuse the course in Walnut IL for the course: Walnut Hollow in Cary IL. Hopefully everyone sees this, this event is in Walnut IL. and not in Cary IL. Hopefully this clears up any confusion anyone might have.

Just to add to what John is saying - if you need directions to the course, you can go to UDisc, and search the course through there, and an option will show up for directions to the course. I'm also leaving a link to the google maps coordinates to where parking is: https://goo.gl/maps/PjhnoBWYQRs3sUpJ7

In another effort to avoid confusion, this is the address for Walnut DGC in Walnut IL. 323 South Main St. 61376.

It is right next to a school, the parking lot at the park as well as at the school are available for players. I am not sure why people are being given directions to the course in Cary, but I am looking into and trying to fix it. If I cannot, I hope everyone sees this does not accidentally go to the wrong course.

Quick announcement!

We have now added a short 22nd hole on the course to allow more people to compete in the event. However, this means that we will not be adding any more holes or players to the tournament to accommodate people who missed getting in. If anyone registers for the waitlist, please understand that our hands are tied, and that we already have more people playing than what is normal, and that you will need some people to drop out before you can be added in. We will not be making a ... more

What is the cap total before the waitlist? I’m a little confused at the addition of the hole? I’m looking to register but not sure if there is room? Sorry for confusions.

Elliot Butler   May 26, 2022 at 1:15pm

No problem. Since the event is a shotgun-start, we have limits on the number of people who can play. Because we wanted to give the people on the waitlist the opportunity to play, we added another hole so we had room for them. However, when we added the hole, we let in more people than what would be ... more

Is this event going to be 21 holes and are the tee pads going to be finished by time for the tournament?

Oh perfect! Are they going to doing any maintenance back in 16-18? Needs a bit, I played today with my buddy, but nothing awful!

John Hawbaker   May 1, 2022 at 11:03pm

Yes, we will definitely be working on getting that cleaned up in time for the tournament.

What day will you be closing registration?

It closes the day before the event to allow people plenty of time to sign up.
