The WVDGA Winter Meeting and Year End Players Party and Awards Ceremony is tomorrow Saturday December 8th in the basement of Copper House Grill starting at 4PM. Players and Guests please come to the lower entrance at the bottom right hand side of the building. Gold and Silver WVDGA members get in free, all other $10 per player. The party includes a free buffet provided by the Copper House, limited free beer (thanks Short Story) and live music from Morgantown's own The Greens! We will also h ... more

The Final Leaderboards have been updated for the West Virginia Disc Golf Tour! Great job to all our players, TD's, Sponsors, Volunteers and our Board for making this such a successful season of Disc Golf in West Virginia! Purse Increases for the West Virginia Disc Golf Tour year-end payouts to $3,200 - that's $1,800 to the Ams and $1,200 to Pros! Still time to join and keep any points you earned at the WV State Championships which was Tour Stop #3. Deadline to join and keep these points is Friday August 31st which is the day prior to the Putnam County Flying Disc Classic at Valley Park!!!

Tomorrow is the BCB Open in Wellsburg, WV and the start of the West Virginia Disc Golf Tour. Day-Of registration runs from 8am-9am so if you haven't signed up yet, you can do so tomorrow at Tourney HQ.

All Tour Members will be able to start adding points to the Leader Boards at this first of six WV PDGA Tourneys. Bronze Memberships are still available online for $10 and you can also sign up at Tour Stops. Year end Tour payouts will be distributed to the top 3 players in every available PDGA division! First Stop on the West Virginia Disc Golf Tour is coming up May 5th in Wellsburg, WV. This is a PDGA B-Tier tourney at a new Johnny Sias/Paul Ashmore designed course (which is a lot of fun btw!) Hope to see you all there!

Grace Period for WVDGA Memberships is 1 tournament to have your results included in past Tour Events. For example, if you play in the first tour event (The BCB Open) and later join the WVDGA before the next tour event (Kanawha Valley Regional) the results from the first event will be included in your overall score.

I signed up for bronze. Does that put me into the chance of payout for pro masters. Not totally understanding the way this works.

WVDGT Am Purse currently sitting at $1,150 and the Pro Purse currently at $900. End of year payouts continue to grow and will be given out to the top 3 players in each PDGA Division.
