Looks like unfortunate weather this week. Will we play rain or shine?

Any chance for delayed start?

Brent Crowe   May 10, 2021 at 8:55pm

Sounds good. Thanks Mark!

Mark Sheldon   May 10, 2021 at 9:18pm

I will continue to monitor Jason. It is a small possibility.

Corey Nickles    May 6, 2021 at 2:06pm

Hey Mark,

Something is coming up for work and it doesn't look like i'll be able to take PTO that day. Good luck to you and the competitors and thanks for running tournaments!

NOOOOOOOO

Corey Nickles   May 6, 2021 at 4:26pm

Yup. Meeting got pushed to day-of and it's with an out of office 3rd party so I can't really plan to take it on the course lol

Troy Dockery   May 10, 2021 at 11:43pm

Bummer man

Yes.

Corey Landers    April 13, 2021 at 1:41pm

How about hole 11. The blacks will be from the back one, will the whites be from the cracked one?

The front pad is fine. We use it every week for Monday singles.

Mark Sheldon   April 13, 2021 at 3:19pm

Cool. Thank you guys.

Adam Nohl    April 9, 2021 at 1:52pm

Hello, I have a few layout questions for practice rounds. Are shorts going to be off red or blue tees? Also, for hole 5 on longs, are we going to play the far back tee by the hole 4 basket or the regular old black tee with the tee sign? Thanks!

I am not the tournament director, but I am part of the roswell disc golf club. Ever since the concrete tee pads were poured a year and a half or so back, the course has had a black and a white layout. I'd be willing to bet we'll be using only those two and not the old red or blue tees. Can't help you on the hole 5 thing. That'll be up to Mark.

Adam Nohl   April 9, 2021 at 3:14pm

Thanks! I play ERP often, but always play black so I just wanted to make sure I wasn't discombobulated on the shorts.

Mark Sheldon   April 9, 2021 at 4:25pm

Thanks Chad, you are correct. We will be using black and white tees. As for hole 5, long will be from the tee near library, and short will be from the “slab” in front of it.
I plan to get out there in the next week or so and make sure of all of these things. At that point I will release a preliminary caddy book to all players.

It doesn’t show that there are any women’s divisions actually happening yet. Currently I only see the option to be on the waitlist. Is this true? I would be looking to enter Intermediate Women and I’ll join the waitlist, but I don’t want to go through the hassle and pay $5 if it’s not going to make anyway because of the tournament being full with all men’s divisions.

Mark Sheldon   April 4, 2021 at 2:27am

Hey Courtney, 5 female divisions are being offered for this tournament. Unfortunately, none of those divisions had any registrants and have no participants currently. With registration currently full, all divisions are waitlist only.

Derek Cooper    April 3, 2021 at 1:11am

Is there a reason Jay Norton is on waitlist even though tourney is not full yet? Just want to make sure he can play if possible. Thanks for organizing!

Mark Sheldon   April 3, 2021 at 1:13am

There is 6 spots remaining for PRO divisions. If those spots are not taken, they will be opened to AM players.

Derek Cooper   April 9, 2021 at 5:41pm

Oops makes sense. Thank you!

Brit Adgie    April 1, 2021 at 1:38am

I signed up to be a hole sponsor, do I send you my information (logo, etc) or add it to the notes?

Mark Sheldon   April 1, 2021 at 1:55am

Thank you for the support. I’ll send out an email in a couple of days that you can reply to.

Dick Dyer    March 29, 2021 at 5:49pm

I am interested in hole sponsorship do I email you first?

Mark Sheldon   March 29, 2021 at 6:35pm

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring a hole. Hole sponsorships will be on sale 3/31 on this site. They will be first come first served and the qty. available will be based on the number of event sponsorships sold. I will reach out to the hole sponsors after sign up for information for sign.

Safe to say MA3 will be from Red Tees?

Mark Sheldon   March 23, 2021 at 7:11am

Yes, MA3 will be from the short tees. I should have much more info posted today or tomorrow.

Jason A Steel    March 21, 2021 at 2:53am

what is layout for MA50 and MA60?

Mark Sheldon   March 21, 2021 at 3:09am

Still finalizing the details, but leaning towards Long/Short or Short/Short.
