Players,
Unami Sunrise is a one round shotgun start event at Unami Creek DGC Sunday 5/8.
All players must sign in. Sign in at two canopies between 6:45am and 7:45am. Players who have not signed in will lose their spot to the wait list players who will be on site and are ready to play.
There will be a short in person players meeting Saturday at 7:45am.
Hand sanitizer is available for your use before you touch any merchandise in the store.
Amateur player package is disc of choice valued $13 to $14. We will use the large black folding table with those items when you sign in. Pick up your players pack before the round.
Your starting hole for the round is listed at
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/59820. In the morning check again your starting hole to confirm nothing has changed. Changes should be very unlikely and only if absolutely needed.
Some cards may have 3 people; if it is time to start and you only have 1 or 2 people you cannot start; wait where you are for the next group and play with them keeping scores separate. The person who does not show up gets par plus four for every hole they miss.
Each card must have two people keeping score. Open person must keep score via the PDGA website and another person any other way you want. Udisc is a common way for the second person to keep score.
We have set up layouts on the PDGA site. PDGA.comscores code Unami
For OB rulings, group decision is needed. If you can’t decide, give the benefit to the player; when in doubt play a provisional. Player must declare loudly they are playing a provisional.
Keep an eye on where you land. You only get 3 minutes to search for your disc before it is officially lost.
No two-meter rule; no special island rules. Everything is standard PDGA rules.
Due to the mud, we will not be playing to hole 3s basket as that area is very muddy. Additionally, you will be throwing from hole 3s tee pad to hole 4s basket. Finally, we will be adding a temp hole between holes 1 & 2.
Bring plenty of water; and this may be a good time for this year to wear sunscreen & bug spray.
The B.S. Bochantin Upshot store will be open during the entire event. We accept venmo, paypal & cash
For those swapping their unwanted plastic, give us your discs before the round. We will value them as you play, and you will receive a script card for the value to use when you finish the round. We are not accepting any swaps after you finish round 1. Due to a massive influx of used Innova discs please expect $1 for Shark, Leopard, Teebird, Beast, Wraith, Katana & Groove
For any first-place tie breaker playoffs, start hole 1 and continue the layout played.
We have currently collected $100 for the ace pot. If you did not pay online, you can pay as you sign in. For the side game for 'Ace Pot/Side Games' we will be doing a CTP (Closest to Pin) for hole 1 before awards. Each player who has paid in is eligible. Winner will receive any one item of choice for store.
All large puddles and very muddy areas are casual relief. Casual relief is a no penalty way of moving your lie backwards so you don’t stand in the mud.
Tip your TD as Venmo @BSUpshot or paypal [email redacted] if you so desire.
