Check in: Upper Pavilion by hole 1. All players must notify the Tournament Director that they have arrived and are ready to play. Hole assignments will be published Friday night on pdga.com BUT ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. You must confirm your starting hole in the morning during check in. There will be a PLAYERS MEETING at 8:45. Tee off for everyone is 9:00am.
Livescoring: At least 2 players must keep score on the card and at least one of them must be via livescoring, preferably both. Udisc and paper-scoring are acceptable as backup.
Livescoring: pdga.com/scores
password: yoyo2
Lunch: Due to the uncertain weather, lunch will be short. Recommended - bring your lunch.
Tees: All tees for the YoYo are marked with green flags. Make sure you throw from the correct tee. Odd-numbered holes LONG and even-numbered tees SHORT. Penalty for completing a hole from the wrong tee is +2 strokes.
Rules: All PDGA tournament rules and standard rules for Tyler are in effect. All OB strokes incur +1 penalty stroke. All parking lots, paths and across are OB (mostly affecting holes 1-12). All high grass is OB (mostly holes 1, 16, 17). Big water (Neshaminy Creek) on holes 7 and 8 and big pond on hole 4 are OB. Small creek on holes 7, 9 and 15 is NOT OB. Mandatory on holes 6, 14 and 18. If missed, play drop zone with +1 penalty. Any OB issues not specified here will default to livescoring notes. All OB issues or any other must be decided by majority vote of the card. More hole-by-hole OB details specified below.
Weather: Looks like some rain for the morning round and clear for the afternoon. The worst of it should be just before we tee off round one. Bring towels and umbrellas. If there is lightning, play will be suspended until 30 minutes after the last lightning. In case of lightning, you will hear three clear car honks from tournament central at the upper pavilion by hole 1. But we will be finishing 2 rounds even if delayed.
Important weather notes: You cannot compete in a PDGA event with only two players on the card if multiple players do not show. In that case, the two players must join other cards. Secondly, all players must inform the TD if they do not intend to complete either round.
Prizes: Top 40% of all divisions will win vouchers to be used at BCDGA store at end of tournament. Multiple CTP awards all day on holes 2, 4, 6, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 (all even holes except hole 8). Small trophies for 1st place finishers in each division.
Bathroom: The only open bathroom is near hole 4 tee.
Lost and Found: Will be open all day. Honor system. The BCDGA does not monitor retrievals.
