When local daylight time is about to reach
Sunday, November 6, 2022, 2:00:00 am clocks are turned backward 1 hour to
Sunday, November 6, 2022, 1:00:00 am local standard time instead.
Sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour earlier on Nov 6, 2022 than the day before. Yes, there will be more light in the morning but it will also be darker earlier in the evening, hence the early start time.
This year is the 20th Annual Turkey Open!
Format: 2 Rounds of 18 Holes - BYOP DOUBLES! (BEST SHOT)
Registration: 7:30 - 8:15am
Player's Meeting: 8:30am
Very limited break between rounds, just enough to add scores and send people back out so please plan accordingly.
A Raffle will be held after the final round before payouts.
100% of the Raffle benefits the Detroit Capuchin Soup Kitchen (DCSK)
We will be playing 2 rounds at River Bends
A temporary 9 holes will be added around the Upper parking lots allowing us to play 2 18 hole rounds on different courses.
Course A will be holes 1 through 9 plus the nine temporary holes
Course B will be holes 10 through 27
The Shelby Township Parks Department is closing off the three east parking lots allowing us the opportunity to do this so a big shout out to them: Thank You!
NOTE***:
We will be playing Course A the 1st round then Course B the 2nd round.
The Tee Pad assignments are:
Both Rounds Long Tee Pads: Open, Long Arms, and Old Arms
Both Rounds Short Tee Pads: Mixed Arms and Small Arms
Course A Short Tee Pads: Holes 15, 19, 25, and 26
Course B Short Tee Pads: Holes 6, 7, 8, 12 temp, and 18 temp
OBs will be defined on the Comments page
Divisions (3 Teams min):
PRO OPEN - $60 / Team
Big Arm Ams (AM1) - $40 / Team
Old Arm Ams - $40 / Team
Mixed Dubs Ams - $40 / Team
Small Arm Ams (AM3) - $30 / Team
$3 50/50 CTP per person - 1/2 of the proceeds goes to the DCSK
$2 Ace Pool per person
Each entry includes a $5 donation to DCSK
Mulligans will be available for $5 each. Limit 1/Rd
All Mulligans goes to the DCSK
Old arms teams must be a combined age of 80+ years.

Motor City Chain Gang is responsible for all refunds/cancelations.
A $10 fee will be applied to all refunds except for those on the wait list that don't gain entry to the event. Please see the below link for any questions.
