Thank you for signing up for Triple D Presents: The St. Andrews Showdown! Not only is
this the first ever sanctioned event at St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, but this
tournament serves as a fundraiser for the Scotland County Disc Golf Club.
This document (a doc via email, copy/pasted here) will serve as the players’ meeting, as there will be no official meeting before the tournament begins. The document sent via email contains some pictures of the tournament layout to help you out on the course.
If you need clarification while out on the course, my contact information is below. Feel free
to give me a call, or you can take a picture and play a provisional.

General Information
• PLEASE BE READY TO PLAY BY YOUR SELECTED TEE TIME. IF YOU ARE RUNNING
LATE, CONTACT THE TDS.
• Tournament Central will be by Hole 16 at the Vardell building. We will have a
couple tents set up, so look out for them. You will check in here before your tee time
and pick up your player's pack. Part of the player’s pack includes $5 in Lucky Bucks,
which will be emailed to you after the conclusion of the event.
• We will utilize PDGA Live Scoring for this event. Go to PDGA.com/Score and enter
the code knights. Everyone will be starting on Hole 16, so make sure you change
your starting hole to 16 before you begin.
• Out of Bounds and hole descriptions are available on the PDGA live scoring for each
hole. If you have questions or need to double check, first look at this document. If
you’re still confused, contact a TD.
• The Vardell building will be open for bathroom access. There are also a couple
water fountains in there if you need to refill water bottles.
• We will have cold drinks available at tournament central.
• Payouts: Pro divisions will be paid out via PayPal at the tournament's end. AM
divisions are trophy only. If an ace is hit, payout will be sent via PayPal at the
conclusion of the event.
• There are 22 CTPs (closest to the pin) during this event. Since temp hole 21 has a lot
of concrete on the fairway, we will add a CTP throw-off hole next to tournament
central to replace the CTP on temp hole 21. There WILL NOT be a CTP flag at
temp hole 21. This additional throw-off is not part of tournament scoring. Everyone
on your card will throw ONE disc here, marking the closest shot to the basket.
• This additional CTP throw off is directly after Hole 15. It is marked by paint,
flags, and a corrugated sign. If your card forgets to throw it, you’re just out of
luck.
