Player meeting. No in person player meeting required but you do need to check in when you arrive tomorrow
Greetings everyone!
Please be sure and read the about section on DGS for the OB list as well as other information. All of the hole information will be in the scoring app as well. Check in will be in one of two places; either next to hole 1 if the weather is nice or inside the front doors if not. I will get hole assignments up promptly at 9:00am when the check in concludes for a 9:15 tee off. I will update DGS, post in the comments there, and send an alert out through the scoring app with the Round 2 tee time once that is established. Payouts will be inside the front door of the church.
We will be evaluating the water levels throughout the week. It is possible we put a temp basket up on Hole 1 on the higher ground if the water around the regular basket is too high. Trinity normally plays pretty quickly so I expect a smooth day. With food options in the immediate area, we'll plan to do a 50 minute lunch from the last card in. Please remember to verify and submit your scores once your round is complete.
If this is your first tournament, be sure you're up to date on PDGA rules. Some common errors I see for first time players are picking your disc up without using a mini marker, not being prepared to keep score with the PDGA app, and talking while other players are throwing.
If you have any questions before or during the tournament, please don't hesitate to ask!
See you all out there.
