I’ve had a couple questions about the event so I’ll answer them here:
This event is a flex start. What that means is you can show up any time between 10 and 3 and play. All we need is 3 to 5 players per card.

Having the uDisc app on your phone is a huge help because that’s how we are doing scoring. We’ll also have paper scorecards and a board with posted scores.

We moved the time back to 10 Eastern. It’s the wife and I’s first wedding anniversary and we’re going to a concert in St. Louis the night before.

There were some questions about the payouts. Basically, larger divisions will have the top 3 places receive gift cards. The top performer will receive a $25 gift card and trophy no matter the division. If there are ties, we’ll figure out a way to break those on the fly if we need to. I typically have two Dynamic Disc gift cards as CTPs as well but we’ll see how registration goes. The 50/50 cash CTP is hole 18.

There are several players that signed up in the general division. I’ll do my best to put you in the appropriate divisions prior to your round. For those with PDGA ratings, a rough estimate for the mixed divisions would be:
MA1: 870+ (been playing several years and average under par on most courses)
MA3: 750+ (been playing a few years and average around par or a little over on most courses)
MA4: 749 and under (been playing for a year or less and averaging over par)

Any players 18 and under can sign up for their age based division or any of the mixed/female divisions depending on gender.

Parking: We’ll do our best with parking and safety. Worst case we use the upper lot at Southside Park as an overfill and chauffeur players to and from on the golf cart.
