Maybe it was the lack of sanctioning, maybe it was the casual nature of the event, but despite the annoying, intermittent drizzle, players at yesterday's Trilogy Challenge at Herr Park seemed to be having a great time.
Around a third of the signups opted to just take their player's pack and go home but the remaining players competed in a single round of 18 holes. When it was all said and done, Collin Fairchild took home the Champion's Disc and $50 in credit. He edged out Bill Pennington ($40 in credit) by a single stroke while Jamie Lepley took third place ($20 in credit) by finishing 3 strokes off the mark.
Gabi Bonifant and Mackenzie Lauffer both played solidly in the female division and each took home $25 in credit for their efforts.
The Side Games each paid out $30 in credit-
Tursas CTP (Hole 1 tee to 18's basket) - Jimmy Hilton
Agent Ring of Fire - Mark Steele
Saint Long Drive - Denver Leaman
