I just played the Met Center and there are orange lines in most places.

Grass is also mowed so in most cases you can tell where OB is and where it's not.

The lines are from a previous event and fairly faded so I guess the better question would be if they were gonna get redrawn. As a B tier for MPO I don’t feel grass lines are adequate for determining OB. The course is looking great though.

I wasn't planning on updating the caddy book this year because we are doing a shotgun start but I can if y'all want one. I will not be marking OB lines this year because of our attendance but we will be playing sign rules.

This is still a B-tier for MPO though correct? I feel like a caddy book and lines to reflect the signs are reasonable requests regardless of attendance. Especially a caddy book with clarifications if there are no lines.

Definitive OB lines are critical at a course like Met Center where OB comes into play on most holes. Using drawn lines from past events will create a ton of ambiguity as most have faded and using mow lines is not any better. Gotta have solid OB marked especially for a B Tier. I’m considering signing up for this but I gotta know there will be well defined OB.

Typically all Ams with the exception of MA 1 play short tees. But I can arrange it so YOU can play longs if you want LMAO

YES, we will still host this event. I have been monitoring other events and seen a jump in sign ups the week before the event. I am hoping this will hold true for us. As a TD this is very frustrating because it really makes it hard to plan or prepare. But I'm mentally prepared to make adjustments on the fly. Tell your friends and fellow disc golfers to sign up please.

I have been telling people but almost all of my friends are playing the tournament at the Ranch this weekend. The Rumble at the Ranch has been this same weekend for the last 3 years. There is no other tournaments that would conflict for the weekend of Sept 28-29. If this event was that weekend then I guarantee more people will sign up.

It’s tough with this being a 2 day event, and with approx. 30% of payout (for pros) going to charity/ fees.

It is a fundraiser and having $70 per Pro for Payout is still better than the other events paying the Pros and there is $750 added to their payout.
