About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Welcome to the first Throw Pink Fall Classic XC tier event! My name is Alexis Kerman (a.k.a. - Shark) and I am excited for this fundraiser tournament. Outside of playing tournaments around the United States, I am an adjunct instructor for the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Natural Resources. This is my first semester teaching an undergraduate sport topic course on DISC GOLF.
As a part of my student's course, they are assisting with running this XC tier event for their class semester project. This class has been a way to introduce Mizzou students to the sport of disc golf and event management practices and skills for their course of study.
This tournament is specifically a trophy only fundraiser tournament for Throw Pink and Mizzou's School of Natural Resources student scholarship program, to give back to the disc golf community and our local University.
Throw Pink is a non-profit organization that supports women’s health initiatives through disc golf events nationwide that encourage women & girls to get out & be more active.
Our goal is to change the face of women’s health.
Help us raise funds to support the growth of student's in the sport of disc golf as well as Throw Pink by playing in this fun tournament! This is a 2 round sanctioned event at Albert-Oakland Bottom in Columbia, MO. All registrants will receive a players pack that will include various goodies from our tournament sponsors. More details will be posted about the players pack in the coming month.
To help us raise funds, we are also including opportunities for hole sponsorships when you register for the event. There are only 18 spots available. Each hole sponsor will get their own sign at a designated tee pad to highlight your support in this tournament.
If you have any questions, please contact the TD at [email redacted]. Hope to see you all in November!
