Throw Masters Ecker Hill is the third in the Triad (series): three PDGA Sanctioned C-tier Masters tournaments in Northern Connecticut. Events are one day, single round- even if you can only make one- each tournament presents as an exceptional event on its own.
Players may choose to play as many of the events as they wish but must participate in a minimum of two to qualify for the series awards. Those who play in all three will have their two best ratings used to determine their series finish. For the series: Top 3 in each division will receive credit to shop with at a store TBD.
We believe in the power of MASTERS and have added an optional Distance Challenge to the Throw Masters Ecker Hill event. For those individuals interested in staying beyond awards/raffle and participating. Cost is $10 to enter, during registration or day-of.
Each player throws 5 discs of their choice from a designated TEE about 1/2 way down the 17th hill and towards the baseball field at the school (see image in PICS). The individual in each pool who gets furthest while staying inbounds, takes all. Five pools: FA, FP, MA40-54, MA55+, MP. The distance challenge is open to anyone who has played in ANY of the Throw Masters events, even if they are not playing Ecker Hill.
Throw Masters Ecker Hill's Birdie level sponsors are:
Claudine A McHugh, Klemm Real Estate
and
EuroDisc
Tournament Fees are $41 Amateur with $10 additional for non-PDGA members, and $51 PRO.
EVENT FEES:
Covered by registration are
- $2 to the PDGA
- $TBD Per Player to Throw Pink (will depend on sponsorships and number of players)
- $5 to the End of Season Series division payouts
Balance to player packs and award discs

Amateur players at Ecker Hill compete for custom award discs.
Top 3 places will receive awards as long as there are at least 3 people in the division. We are able to be generous with our awards thanks to our Birdie and Tee sponsors.
PRO players will have cash payouts.
Raffle tickets are available 1 for $5 during online registration OR cash only on day of event. You may only win once in the raffle.
Ace pot is $5 during online registration OR cash only on day of event. If no ace is hit the ace pot is donated to Audubon.
