The 2019 Three Rivers Open presented by BFGoodrich is currently full on the amateur side. If you would like to play, please consider registering for the wait-list.

PROS there are only 15 spots available as of now. You must register by Monday July 8th, 2019 at 10 PM. From there, there will be no more reserved spots and amateurs on the wait-list will be promoted.

A huge shout out to Brian Wilson TD and all the volunteers of the FDGC. The tournament was ran like a well oiled machine. Countless hours I know were spent organizing the event, prepping the courses, gathering prizes, and set-up and tear down each day of the event. I am very proud to be associated with all the fine men and women of our city who love disc golf. We shined bright as club/city, it was a great event and FUN weekend. I encourage everyone to find some rest this week(where ever and whenever) and drink a few beers this week! Cheers!!!!!

Happy Monday everyone!

The Fort Disc Golf Club and I are thrilled to host you for the 2019 Three Rivers Open presented BFGoodrich. Our event is the 7th stop on the Indiana Summer Series and the 3rd stop on the FDGC Course Challenge Series.

I’m going to keep this email as brief as possible. That being said, there is some key information regarding the event details - so please read through it thoroughly. If there are any questions, please feel free to shoot me a message through email or facebook messenger.

Friday July 26, 2019
-Friday Swinney Flex Start Doubles: 11AM - 6 PM

Saturday July 27, 2019
-Player Check-In: 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM
-Player’s Meeting: 9:40 AM
-Round 1 (Shotgun Start): 10:00 AM
-Lunch Hour: To Be Determined
-Round 2 (Shotgun Start): To Be Determined
-Player’s Party at Summit City Brewerks 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Sunday July 28, 2019
-Round 3: Tee times based off of Saturday’s Results starting at 7:30 AM


~Swinney Flex Start Doubles~
On Friday July 26 we will be hosting a bring your own partner’s doubles at Swinney park, which will be a great warm-up for the main event. (See the attached flyer and scorecard.)

-Flex Start Event: 11AM - 6:00 PM (Player’s must tee off by 6 PM)
-Check-In at Swinney West
-All players can pick up their player’s pack early at the Flex Start Doubles.
-Awards for the TRO doubles will occur at the 2019 Player’s Party.



7/27/2019 - Player Check-In: 8:30AM - 9:30 AM

ALL COMPETITORS ARE REQUIRED TO CHECK IN SATURDAY AM AND SIGN THE COMPEITION WAIVER.

-Tournament Central will be located at Swinney West.
-Parking can get a little tight at Swinney. If possible, please use carpooling or ridesharing to the event. (See the attached parking PDF.)
-All players can pick up their player’s pack at check-in.


Swinney Saturday

Course Address: 1600 W Jefferson Blvd Fort Wayne, IN

All competitors will play two (2) rounds Saturday July 27, 2019; one (1) round at West Swinney and one (1) round at East Swinney. Each round will utilize the shotgun start format. Course designations will be determined the day of the event.

· A food truck will be available between rounds. Please consider buying lunch from them! If not, there are other options available in both directions from the park.

· Course Detail sheets and a caddy guide have been attached.



Player’s Party at Summit City Brewerks

Brewery Address: 1501 E Berry Street Fort Wayne, IN 46803

Saturday night Summit City Brewerks is opening up their doors to our disc golf community! Come enjoy an exclusive TRO IPA from 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM.

· Parking is limited at the brewery! Please use ridesharing (UBER / LYFT) or carpool to the party.

· This establishment is available for patrons of all ages.


Tillman Sunday

Course Address: 600 E Tillman Road Fort Wayne, IN 46816

All competitors will be assigned a tee time based off of Saturday’s results. Tee times will be posted immediately following Round 2. Please check the PDGA website for assignments.

· Tee times will begin Sunday morning at 7:30 AM beginning with the MA3 division.

· All players are required to check-in 10-min prior to their tee-off time. Per PDGA Standards, a two (2) minute warning will be observed prior to teeing.

· Warm-up areas are available near the softball diamonds and soccer fields. Please be aware of other park users and competitors.

· Please see the attached PDF for parking notes.

· Full Circle BBQ will be set up from 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM. Please consider this for your lunch option.

· IF FOR SOME REASONE YOU DECIDE TO NOT TO COMPETE IN SUNDAY’S ROUND, PLEASE SHOOT ME A MESSAGE ASAP.


Miscellaneous Info

· We will have porta-jons and access to restroom facilities at each course.

· Water will be available roughly every four (4) or so holes. Please bring your own containers! (Whatever trash you bring in - please take it with you.)

· Alcohol is prohibited in all Fort Wayne Parks

A caddy guide has been attached, which contains a lot of this general info and highlights our great sponsors! Without them - this event would not be possible. While you are in Fort Wayne please consider visiting our sponsors and telling them thank you. Also, if you are visiting somewhere that isn’t a sponsor yet, tell them why you are in town.

One note on the caddy guide - please download it to your mobile device. To save some trees we have decided to make this available only on online. That being said, we will have hard copies of the course notes.
