Players Meeting for the 3 Disc Challenge:
Moving around the course - I will have signs in place!
The Wildwood course is not closed; if you encounter casual players, please be respectful towards them and negotiate smooth play.
There is no OB today.
Please pay attention to your hole number. We skip several Deerfield holes and include several Wildwood holes in this layout. Play your holes in order. Deerfield holes are labeled with brown signs and wildwood holes are labeled with green signs.
After you play Deerfield 3, walk on the path behind Deerfield hole 4's teepad to Deerfield hole 6. The long pad is the bottom of the hill; walk up the hill to the short pad.
After you play Deerfield hole 9, play Wildwood 6 short and Wildwood 7 short. When you finish Wildwood 7 short, TURN LEFT and walk up the path to Wildwood hole 5. You will see the long teepad, walk to the short teepad that sits on top of a small hill. After you play this hole, walk QUIETLY down the path to the right, behind Wildwood hole 6s teepad to Deerfield hole 10.
Play Deerfield hole 10-17 from the short teepads. Deerfield hole 18 is not included in the layout.
Rules
We have a large junior division today and we ask that all adults remember that and help create an environment that encourages our youth to grow up with the sport of disc golf.
Please follow basic disc golf rules including:
Always play from directly behind your disc. You may mark your lie with a mini disc or leave your disc on the ground but you must throw from behind your lie.
You may not break branches from living plants to improve your lie. You may move anything that is dead or detached.
The player with the lowest score on the previous hole plays first from the tee.
The player furthest from the pin throws first once initial lies are established.
Stay behind other throwers.
Be respectfully quiet when others are throwing
Please walk quietly after playing Wildwood short 5 because you will be walking past the tee for Wildwood 6 and other players might be throwing.
Report your scores honestly. Other players on the card are expected to correct a player who misrepresents their score the moment the score is reported on the course. No corrections will be made by the TD at the end of the round.
BE A GOOD SPORT! This is a fun event and whether the throws are good or bad, we encourage you to make it a great day!
Scoring
We will use UDisc to score as much as possible. Check-in with the TD at the beginning to make sure you are checked in on UDisc.
Before the round, at your hole, meet with the other players to decide who will keep score (UDisc and paper or non-league UDisc backup) Open UDisc, go to EVENTS. Choose Mount Pleasant Leagues Team Taylor 3 Disc Challenge. Click CREATE SCORECARD. Choose your players and your starting hole. Click Begin play when you are ready to enter the scores on the first hole. Finalize at the end of play.
Please have a back-up scorecard. Paper ones are available, or a second scorekeeper can use UDisc and create a non-league scorecard.
All players should verify scores at the end of the round.
Ace Pool
If no aces are hit during play, there will be an ace pool throw off on Wildwood Hole 18 short following the round.
