WASHTENAW COUNTY OPEN - SUN SEPT 28, 2025
First, thank you for choosing to spend your day with us at the event. We understand that with the growth of disc golf, you have plenty of options to play courses and events. I appreciate your support as we continue to offer events (and leagues) for players to experience the game of disc golf.

Regarding Today’s Event:
NO IN-PERSON PLAYER MEETING – This post will serve as the information for the event (along with the details loaded in PDGA online scoring. Please take a few minutes to look it over.

EVERYONE must keep score. Electronic scoring on the PDGA Live App is preferred as it double checks all scores and notifies you of conflicts. You may keep a paper copy, but you are responsible for accurate scoring/totaling, penalties for inaccurate scoring/totaling, and turning it in after each round to TD.

Starting hole……Use the PDGA app / find the event on pdga.com

You are welcome to check with TD to make sure scores are submitted properly or if there are questions before starting lunch or at the end of round 2.

Round 1 OG Course
Tee Off: 9:15 am

MPO, MP40, MA1, MA2…..LONG
Everyone Else……………..……SHORT

Round 2 MONSTER
Tee Off: - 45 min after last card submitted from round 1
Tee Assignments:
MPO, MA1………………………..LONG
Everyone Else…………………...SHORT

OB on the course (listed in online scoring)

50-50 Hole: Monster Hole #2
Ace Pool: if no aces are recorded during the event, a designated hole CTP on the 2nd round will serve to award the ace pool.

45 min break for lunch (this time starts when THE LAST CARD from round 1 is submitted/finalized)
I will post on Disc Golf Scene AND announce in the parking lot when that last card is turned in.

Round 2 starting time and hole assignments
This information will appear in the scoring app when they are published

PAYOUTS will be started after the 2nd round when YOUR ENTIRE division is final.

Had a few drops today. I have been updating the list during the day.

No in person player meeting tomorrow morning. Starting holes and the event access code are available when you check-in. We are planning to set up in the field space near the practice tee. Please look for the canopies, tables, etc.

We will have bottled water for you on the course tomorrow, as well as snacks available when you check-in.

Player check-in starts at 8am.

Drive safely in the morning.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend at Hudson Mills for the event on Sunday.

As a reminder, Hudson Mills is part of the Huron Clinton Metroparks system and has a vehicle entry fee. This fee is not covered by signing up to play in the event. There is a Daily fee ($10) to enter the park, unless you already have an annual pass ($40 regular, $29 for ages 62+).

Check-in will take place near the parking lot. Please look for the pop-up style canopies and tables to check-in for the event.
