2022 Washtenaw County Open
Rolling Hills County Park - Sun Sept 25, 2022
Thank you for signing up to play our event. We know you have lots of options for events, companies, and tournament directors and we appreciate you choosing us! We work hard to create and run events for both casual and competitive players alike. We welcome any feedback you may have that will allow us to improve our events. Please shoot us a message on FB or talk with us in person about what you enjoyed, what you have questions on, as well as what you think we might be able to do better.
Please respect people’s space during the event, including check-in, event play, lunch, as well as payouts. You need to officially check in and make sure that you are in ace pool and 50/50 (this is players responsibility, not the TDs).
We will be utilizing LIVE scoring for the event. Code will be provided at check-in. You should have 2 players on the card to keep score. Paper scorecard will be provided for the round in the event that is preferred as a method for a backup scorecard. Official score will be considered the PDGA Live Scoring feature.
Tee assignments for day
MPO, MPM, MA1: Long Tees
MA2: Round 1 - LONGS Round 2 - SHORTS
Everyone else: Short Tees
Layout/Play:
Mark each lie with a mini, or play behind disc that was just thrown before moving on to next shot
Make sure players are safely clear in front of you before playing any shot.
If your card can not make the determination on a call regarding play, use a provisional shot, and discuss with TD PRIOR to submitting/finalizing scores.
You CAN NOT play your round in a group of 2 players. You must split up….1 player going forward to join the group ahead of them, and the other player joining the group behind you.
Make sure you FINALIZE / SUBMIT your scores for each round. Check with TD if you have questions or to insure that it has been submitted.
Ace Pool
We hope that at least one of you is fortunate enough to snag an ace during the event. However, should no one record an ace during regular play, we will utilize a throw off following round 2. Any player who paid into the ace pool is eligible and encouraged to stick around to throw their qualifying shot. More details to be provided should this method of paying out the ace pool is needed
Lunch Break:
The Lunch break will be 45 min from the time the last card is completed in round 1. We will also post information regarding round 2 start time on the event page on Disc Golf Scene.
Out of Bounds & Considerations:
On or over paved paths (Hole 5, 6, 7, 8, 9)
Over fence line (Hole 7, 12,)
Please bring in any flags (the 50/50 for example) in AFTER the appropriate round (these will ne noted on the flags and/or also included on the signage)
