No Practice Rounds. Day of we'll have the course setup so you can check in early, scope out the course and get some practice in before the tournament starts. You'll also receive an email a couple days before the tournament with more detailed information on the course, arrival, etc. Feel free to message me with any questions too. Thanks!
The Veer is a one day tournament with two rounds of shotgun starts (72 players) at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland, Oregon.
PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier and we will be using live scoring.
Lunch will be provided for an additional $5. Includes sandwich, chips, and cookies.
CTP prizes for both Am and Pro divisions.
Ace Pot with $50 added on top.
Two Raffles - 2 tickets to Blazers game and 2 rounds of golf at Glendoveer w/cart!
-Amateurs will receive a players pack that includes a tournament t-shirt with The Veer logo and a unique, annual design by local artist Chamisa Kellogg, The Veer bag tag, along with other swag items from DGD. All Am divisions will compete for 1st place trophies and scrip! The good folks from Disc Golf Depot will be providing merchandise onsite; redeem day of or at a later date from DGD.
-Pros will play for 100% cash minus Course/PDGA fees. There will be a minimum of $150 added cash to the purse. Payouts will be done through PayPal. Tournament t-shirts are available to purchase for $15.
REGISTER BY AUGUST 30 TO GUARANTEE T-SHIRT SIZE
The Veer is the original disc golf layout at Glendoveer and is located on the front nine of the west course (It is NOT the Portland Open layout). Majority of the holes are wooded, fun lines, elevation, and interesting greens. Ob or hazard bunkers come into play on roughly half of the holes. Par 59 - par 3's ranging from 270ft to 420ft and five par 4's. The course will challenge both Pros and Ams accuracy, distance, and shot making abilities.
Dynamic Discs Veteran Baskets, turf and natural teepads. There will be two sets of tees on most holes for the different divisions. MPO, FPO, MP40, MA1 - long tees and FA1, MA40, MA2, FA2 - short tees.
