Tillman Tune-Up Player’s Email
This message will serve as the player’s meeting for the tournament. If you have any questions between now and Round 1, you may shoot me an email or ask them at tournament check-in.
First and foremost, thank you for registering for the Tillman Tune-Up! I am excited to run another tournament at Tillman Park, which is one of my favorite places in the world to play disc golf. This tournament serves a couple of purposes for me: (a) I wanted to play in a disc golf tournament near my birthday and (b) I wanted to test the concept of a small tournament with limited divisions - I’m very happy with the filed sizes!
This tournament will feature the brand-new Tillman Park Veteran baskets, which were installed for the Three Rivers Open A-Tier being held in September 2021. Registration for that event is now open on the disc golf scene. The Am Side is full but there are about 40 or so pro spots left. A big shout out to Brian Miller, the Fort Wayne Parks Department, Fort Disc Golf Club, and everyone that had a hand in getting the new baskets installed!
