A huge Thank You to the Lake County Disc Golf Club for helping with the tournament. They're keeping you hydrated! And a magnificent thank you to YOU!! Half of every entry fee is going to the Ladies Tee Party, a tournament on October 24th, 2020. My goal this year is to provide a high quality and generous tournament for the ladies, with low entry fees, all non-member PDGA fees paid for, and any to cover the entry fee for any women that have been impacted by the COVID shutdowns by furloughs and layoffs. No ladies left behind!
Tournament Info
Tee Time is 0830.
THERE IS NO PLAYERS MEETING, NO CHECK IN. GO STRAIGHT TO YOUR ASSIGNED HOLE. You can certainly stop by and say Hi, but YOU MUST WEAR A MASK (and dont be offended when I give you an air five). This is a NON-SANCTIONED tournament, but we'll generally follow PDGA tournament rules.
Tee Assignments (for both rounds)
Blue to Gold: MPO
Blue to Red: FPO, MA1, MA40
White to Gold: FA1, MA2, MA50
White to Red: MA3, MA4, MA60, FA2, FA3, FA4, FA40, FA50, FA60
A map of the course is attached, including hole distances. There will NOT be any paper copies of this available, so please refer to this email.
Scoring
Please use UDisc (or similar) to keep score on your card. Paper cards will be available, but I really don't want them back. At the conclusion of your round, please stop by and verbally provide your cards scores as we write them down.
Lunch, Restrooms
Lunch is on your own. We will have 1 hour after the last card is turned in, so I would suggest bringing your own lunch. Restrooms are available on-site in the parking area, but no other privy are provided on the course.
Lightning
There's a very high likelihood of a thunderstorm in the afternoon...because this is Florida, and its what we do every day at 3pm. Just plan for it. If there is lightning in the vicinity, you will (hopefully) hear 3 horn blasts, which means we are on lightning delay. Immediately stop play, mark your lie, and head to a safe place. I'll post updates on return to play on the Lake County Disc Golf Club and Florida Disc Golf Championship facebook pages. There will be 2 minute warning horn and a return to play horn at the conclusion of a delay.
Payouts!
All you winners will be receiving a cash payout! We will briefly acknowledge all the wieners following the tournament, if you guys can all spread out and be cool. There are no trophies, but if you're lucky, maybe some cold beers as prizes. We are using the PDGA Payout table, which can be found here:
https://www.pdga.com/documents/tour-pay-tables In case you need help mathing, (# Players in Division)($10)(value on the table) = Your Payout! ALL PAYOUTS WILL BE SENT VIA PAYPAL TO THE ADDRESS YOU SPECIFIED IN REGISTRATION. I'll do it as quickly as I can, I promise.
