Welcome to The Stampede! I am excited to host this year's Sierra Tahoe Series event. This is one of my favorite courses and tournaments, and while I'm disappointed I don't get to play, I'm thrilled to host and share this incredible course with all of you.
Please read this email carefully. It contains important tournament information, and all players are responsible for knowing the information provided below.

RAFFLE
We have a large raffle planned for the weekend. Proceeds help cover the cost of the water and snacks provided throughout the course.
Please support the raffle if you can. Winning tickets will be drawn during Sunday's round, and prizes can be picked up after your round is complete.
LIVE SCORING

PDGA rules require players to keep score during the round.

I will have portable Starlink internet available on-site.
Once your card is started, scoring will continue to work throughout the round. You will simply need to reconnect near tournament central at the end of the round to finalize scores.
Wi-Fi login information will be provided during check-in.
COURSE RULES
• 2-Meter Rule is in effect.
• No alcohol consumption during a round.
• No smoking during a round.
• Due to fire danger, smoking is prohibited on the course.
• Violation of PDGA alcohol or smoking rules may result in disqualification.
• Parking lots are OB when completely surrounded by concrete.
• All lake water is OB when completely surrounded by water.

The US Forestry Service charges $500.00 for the course fee for a 2-day event, which will be divided among all players.
PDGA Sanctioning Fee and Insurance $125.00 Divided between all players

Refund policy
TD Kristine King is responsible for all Refunds
Players who officially request to withdraw from an event at least 30 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund (minus up to a $5 handling fee).
Waitlist is for divisions and will be handled in that nature that also pertains to withdrawls.
For players who officially request to withdraw from an event 15 to 29 days before the start of the event, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 50% cash refund OR just the player’s pack the player would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). Pro Players will receive 50% Cash Refund since no players pack.
Players who officially request to withdraw from an event within 14 days of the start of the event and before the event’s published closure of registration. The TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 25% cash refund OR just the player’s pack they would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 25% cash refund.
Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements and don’t play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack. This does NOT apply to a waitlist player; 1.03.B.
