Schedule is still the same, the weather is only affecting a couple of tees. Please still show up for the players meeting at 8:45am at the washrooms near Liebel Field. Rounds will begin at 9am. I am working on an email with hole asignments and other info, then hopefully we will have the hole-by-hole caddy book out tomorrow morning early.

All Amateurs will receive a players pack. They will include a custom premium stamped mini (Either Innova Galactic or Glow) as well as a unique event cup with the QCM stamp and a stamp of our Tournament Sponsor Royal Sporting Goods.

In addition to these two striking items, all Recreational and Junior players will get the option to pick a disc or a bag when they come pick up their players pack.

Player Packs will be available starting at 8am Saturday from Tournament Central.

Ack that, Chris! Looking forward to TDO! @Dalen, as a competitor, it mainly contributes to your PDGA player rating, and earns you points towards invitations to big events (e.g., pro/am world championships)

TAYLOR MOUNTAIN   May 11, 2022 at 12:10pm

IN ADDITION TO COSTING EVERYONE AND THE CLUB MORE MONEY, SANCTIONING BANS AM DIVISIONS FROM PLAYING FOR MONEY AND LOCKS THE TOURNEY IN TO PDGA'S REQUIRED PRIZE/PAYOUT STRUCTURE, WHICH PAYS OUT WAY MORE PEOPLE SMALLER AMOUNTS THAN MOST WOULD EXPECT.

TAYLOR MOUNTAIN   May 11, 2022 at 12:34pm

THE COUNTER POINT WOULD PROBABLY BE THAT TOURNEY NUMBERS NEED TO BE SUBMITTED TO PDGA... SO SANCTIONING WOULD GIVE PLAYERS AN IDEA WHAT TO EXPECT FOR THE TOURNEY STRUCTURE AND MAKE IT HARDER FOR THE TD TO JUST TAKE OFF WITH ALL THE MONEY
