Aug 12 - Tomorrow night (August 13th) I will be closing/merging divisions with fewer than 3 registrations. This includes REMOVING MP40 - Pro Masters 40+ and FA3 - Recreational Women, and MERGING FA2 - Women's Intermediate into FA1 - Womens Advanced unless the divisions fill up before then. The Junior divisions will still be around though.

A couple of announcements:

First, the Caddie Book is ready! I will send it out in an email to all registrants in the next couple days, and we will have a teaser out right away on the Facebook group.

Secondly, we have opened up a new division for those old fogies - MA50. Same tees as MA40, only with more "Back in my Day" comments!

Finally I wanted to remind anyone considering coming out to sign up! We are half-way to full, and I expect there will be a surge of entrants coming up. Thanks to everyone who has signed up already, you've been a big help in us getting things done on time! The deadline for online registration is August 15th @ 11:59pm, anyone who wants to after this time will have to contact me personally to get things set up.

We are proud to announce that Saturday lunch will be provided for all registered players by the famous Italian Star Deli!!!!! Check them out in Regina @ 1611 Victoria Ave. http://www.italianstardeli.com/

They are offering between these choices of delicious sandwiches.
-Mild panini with feta
-Medium panini with feta (banana peppers)
-Hot panini with feta (banana peppers & spicy la bomba spread)
-Vegetarian panini (all cheese; mild, medium or hot)
-Gluten Free panini (mild, medium or hot)

They all have mustard, Italian dressing, provolone cheese, assorted meat (extra cheese for vegetarians) and your desired level of spice.

Optional:
- With or without feta
- Any allergies to items can be swapped for another item of similar standing

This will be an option for you to pick during registration. Please fill out any food allergies and/or preferences you may have in the Notes section of the registration. We have contacted players who have already registered so please check your junk mail if you haven't received anything. Anyone registering after the deadline or in person day of will have to take what is there. These are all great options, you won't be disappointed!

We are happy to announce that the Westfalia course will be open for play on Friday August 16th for practice round(s)! Everyone is welcome to show up between 12 and 8pm. The use of golf carts is currently doubtful BUT the clubhouse will be open and licensed the entire day. Practice rounds cost $10, this is not covered by your player fees and will be going direct to Westfalia.

Early check-in will take place at the course as well that day. You can come pick up your players pack with special edition Sask Open discs! Stay tuned for more info on the discs that are coming!
