About this tournament

Welcome to the NoOB 5, presented by Accelerated Growth Capital and Dynamic Discs! This year, the NoOB falls on Earth Day, and we will have a few things in place to "celebrate."
As in the past, the NoOB plays two rounds of 19 at Mesker OG without any Out-of-bounds penalties (we will add in Woods Hole 15)! Throws over the fence on Park16 play as relief from where the disc went out. If you or a business would like to sponsor a specific hole, please include this in the notes at registration.
All Open, Masters, MA1 and MA2 will play Round 1 from the long tees and Round 2 from the short tees.
All other Amateurs and Juniors will play two rounds from the short tees.
Both divisions will play 19 holes, including Woods 15 between Hole 7 and 8.
Junior Players in MJ08, FJ08, MJ06, and FJ06 will play one round from the short tees, with awards presented at the lunch break, per PDGA Competition Manual 1.13.E.
As of 3/15 - Ams will receive a custom-stamped disc, a tree seedling which can be taken or planted on the course, and other goodies!
Earth Day:
Players will have the choice of a disc from Trilogy's recycled line of plastics. Other molds will also be available. The event stamp will also be Earth Day-related.
We will have a recycling container on site and water coolers instead of bottles.
Players who collect trash on the course and submit their photo of their "haul" in the weeks leading up to the event will be entered into a raffle (email picture to admin @ aedgc.org).
Amateur Payouts will be vended on site by Ace Eagle Disc Golf Club (in addition to current club inventory of discs and accessories, we will have a selection of stock discs from major manufactures available)!
Entry Fee Break Down:
Open: $2 PDGA, $2 to Bathroom Rental, $1 to trophies, $40 to payouts.
Ams: $2 PDGA fee, $2 to Bathroom Rental, $1 to trophies, $15 to support player pack purchases, $20 to payouts.
Juniors: $2 PDGA fee, $2 to Bathroom Rental, $1 to trophies, $15 to support player pack purchases, $10 to payouts.
There will be an all day 50/50 CTP on hole 9. If no ace is hit, there will be an ace pool throw off from 5's short pad to 4's basket following round 2 for half the pot.
