Chris, I'm good with it, I'm just giving John a hard time because he thinks he has an advantage on long holes because he throws a mile longer than the rest of us! I think I've played the blue tees 90% of the time I've played it. Mar 21, 2018

I apologize. We didn’t realize that for ratings and series points to be consistent we would all need to play from the same tees. Most of the Blue Par 3s out there are no longer than any of the holes at Deming, for example. Other than Hole 1 (which I can’t usually reach in 2 throws) there are 5 other Par 4s that are 500 ft or less meaning two well placed 250ft shots can get you a birdie. I think even from the Blue tees everyone will still enjoy the course!

Clarification, ALL divisions will play the blue tees for both rounds. Sorry for any confusion on this. Mar 21, 2018

Chris, don't listen to Lowery. He's speaking for the young, barely 50. The old, can't remember 50 are just fine with Red tees! Mar 20, 2018
Chris Baker Mar 20, 2018Also, MA50 (formerly Am Grandmasters) and MA60 (formerly Am Sr. Grandmasters) will play from the Red Tees
John Lowery Mar 20, 2018MA50 has big arms and we know how to use them.
Chris Baker Mar 20, 2018Last time I announced GM playing Blue tees at Deer Run I was almost shot. Bump up and play MA40 if you want to play with the big arms!!! LOL
John Lowery Mar 20, 2018Would think about it but would likely cost me the series championship if I am throwing Blue and rest of MA50 throwing Red. Comparing Apples and Oranges.
Chris Baker Mar 21, 2018Correction. To normalize series points and ratings all players will be playing from the blue tees on Saturday. Sorry for any confusion.
