The NC Superclassic is making its return! For many years, this was an event held each November in Kinston and we're bringing it back. This will be a FUND RAISER for King's Cup 18.
What is it, you ask? This is a tournament that is played using only Super Class discs (i.e. Zephyrs, Super Heroes, Ultimate Frisbee discs, lids, etc.). Don't own any Super Class discs? Not to worry! You will receive a custom stamped Zephyr as your players pack for the event. (And if you want some practice throwing a Zephyr, I have a few I'm willing to loan)
This will be a two-round, unsanctioned tournament. We will play two rounds from the red (short) tees at Barnet Park. Here's the entry fee breakdown:
$25 Entry Fee - $10 to payout, $15 to King's Cup
Am/Women's payout will be through the KDGA Club Store; pro payout will be via PayPal
Players pack discs are sponsored, so no deduction for players pack comes out of entry
Please direct any questions to Andrew Duppstadt.

Those are all acceptable. Kinda funny that this list hasn't been updated since 2009, but then again, not many companies are making these types of discs anymore. I would add the Innova Makani to this list. I think it is PDGA approved. Innova says you can disc golf with it.
FYI Dynamic Discs also have the aviator which is an ultimate lid.
What about a Condor?
Believe it or not, a Condor is not on the approved SuperClass list. I know its the same size or larger as some of the SuperClass discs, but it has never been considered part of the class.
