So the players playing Inverness tomorrow , is everyone starting on tee pad 1?

Allen Hall    August 24, 2019 at 2:53am

Now that we are split into 2 pools, why would we not start earlier than 10 in the morning if delays are expected before weather starts to get increasingly worse?

Kevin Turner   August 24, 2019 at 3:26am

Tees times start at 8am.

Tyler Young    August 22, 2019 at 2:02pm

So probably a dumb question, but are Greg Carter Memorial and John Lemaster disc golf courses separate courses? I've played Trussville several times and only every played Carter. I've not seen other baskets or signs for a second course and some of the pictures I've found online of Lemaster look the same as Carter. Any help would be appreciated so I can avoid confusion on that day.

Yes Carter and Civitan are separate courses maybe a 5-7 minute drive away from each other. Pull it up on udisc and there is an option for directions on the course description page.

Tyler Young   August 22, 2019 at 9:01pm

Very helpful. Thank you!

Gene Sorg    August 20, 2019 at 12:47pm

It's been a few years. Are the courses cart friendly? If memory serves: Ward (Yes), Inverness (No), Civitan (Unknown but pictures would suggest Yes).

GW is easily cart friendly, couple roots here and there and a steep hill or two.

Keith Miskell   August 20, 2019 at 5:39pm

Le Master/ Civitan - Couple of holes will be rough (The wooded holes) but totally doable.

Keith Miskell   August 20, 2019 at 5:40pm

Inverness - I have rolled it before but have not rolled it since. 2/10 would not recommend.

Brent Gann    August 20, 2019 at 3:00am

I don't see the C-Tier for Clay on DiscGolfScene, when will that information be available?

It looks like it's a handicapped format, so does that mean it isn't sanctioned?

Ben Swam   August 21, 2019 at 4:35am

Performance Flight events can be sanctioned. I will try to get an answer to this tomorrow and post it here.

Ben Swam   August 21, 2019 at 4:35am

Also I have confirmed that it will be walk up registration only.

Brandon Cruz    August 19, 2019 at 5:33pm

I will not be arriving in the Birmingham area until Friday August 23rd, late morning. Where can I check in and pick up my players pack?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Ben Swam   August 19, 2019 at 6:46pm

All player packs not picked up by Thursday must be picked up at check in at George Ward. Friday will be the final opportunity to get your player pack.

Brandon Cruz   August 19, 2019 at 7:05pm

Thanks again for the clarity.

Allen Hall    August 18, 2019 at 12:54am

So when exactly is the course layout, o.b. and such going to get added to the app seeing how we are less than a week away from the event?

Ben Swam   August 18, 2019 at 1:45am

We are working on it now but have run into some issues with it. You will receive a player handout at check-in that has all of the OB, par, and distance information for all courses. Just like every other event in Disc Golf. Sorry our app is not completely updated. What a great problem to have.

Jason Light    August 15, 2019 at 11:12am

I see that the waitlist has been removed and players moved into their respective groups, does this mean we are officially in the tournament?

Ben Swam   August 15, 2019 at 1:08pm

Yes, it does! You should have received an email notification as well. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hunter Rivers    August 11, 2019 at 5:20pm

If I can be moved from MA1 to open, I would prefer that.

Ben Swam   August 12, 2019 at 4:56pm

If you move to Open, you would go to the end of the waitlist. But, you are welcome to switch your division if you want to. It will prompt you to pay the additional entry fees. Registration and changes will be unavailable after 8/14, just FYI.

Jason Wagner    August 5, 2019 at 8:17pm

What day do you think the times will be posted

Ben Swam   August 5, 2019 at 8:33pm

Tee times will be posted the evening of Aug 18th.

C J Mahaffey    July 29, 2019 at 5:22pm

I am registered in FA1 And I see there is now only 2 of us. Will we still have that division?

Ben Swam   July 29, 2019 at 8:43pm

Yes we will have an FA1 division.

C J Mahaffey    July 28, 2019 at 10:57pm

Are the FPO playing from long tees?

Ben Swam   July 29, 2019 at 2:18am

No. There are no long tees at George Ward and Civitan. At Inverness, only MA1 and MPO will play from the long tees.

Keith Miskell   August 1, 2019 at 4:23pm

RIP MA1

Preston Brown    June 14, 2019 at 3:57pm

Are the courses in Mega Bowl layout? if not, when will they be?

Ben Swam   June 16, 2019 at 1:13pm

George Ward has the newer set of baskets in the correct layout now unless they have moved since Saturday. Inverness will be in it's Mega Bowl layout on Saturday but hole 5 cannot stay in the layout permanently due to boat traffic. Civitan is not in the correct layout. Per PDGA requirements, all ... more

Ben Swam   June 16, 2019 at 1:13pm

Update: Hole 5 at Inverness will stay in the short pin for the tournament.

Preston Brown   June 17, 2019 at 1:04pm

Thanks for the update.

Tyler Hickman    May 13, 2019 at 2:13am

Do we have to pay full entry or what to get on waitlist?

Jason Swam   May 15, 2019 at 2:50pm

Yes and if you do not get in you will receive a full refund.

Allen Hall    May 4, 2019 at 2:17am

My buddy and I are traveling from Central Florida for this and respectfully request close tee times for round 1 if possible since we only have one vehicle. Allen hall #99589 & Matt brobst #99593. Any accommodation would be greatly appreciated and looking forward to playing this event for a second year in a row

What me and my buddy did was caddy for each other to kill the time between waits. Might be an option. Here’s to having an amazing time!

Ben Swam   May 4, 2019 at 11:03am

Since you're both playing in the same division, your tee times should be within about an hour of each other (at worst) all weekend.

Keith Miskell    March 21, 2019 at 3:55pm

I AM SUPER HYPED
